Haven't gotten into all the expansions for this game, but as far as Hex-based goes, I really like this game. Lot of high fantasy and steampunk themes. The AI can become brutally difficult, and some quests will feel like trying to get a goblin to topple a mountain at times- but most of the gameplay is just smooth. Pretty safe buy on sale. Don't know if I would recommend trying any game like this in multiplayer.
