Hey I just read your 7 days review and feel the exact same way. Check out the mod called undead legacy by subquake. Its not out for 1.0 yet but you can play the a20 version. Its really good and it feels like what the game should have been if the developers didn't suck ass. I have a non dedicated server im passively playing if you want to come check it out sometime. I disable 7 day hordes and add large wandering hordes that are random instead, kinda like 7 days back in the day.
