devs dont play their own games

Just buy it tbh.
Small dev team so I wouldn't expect huge updates but the base game has great depth to it and Frontline, 1v1s and other gamemodes keep it interesting. Very well balanced mix of Mount and Blade and Chivalry combat.

Great engine, great core mechanics, satisfying gameplay, competitive scene, fun maps.

If the anti-cheat was actually useful and if the scamming and spamming memebers of the trading community were controlled or punished, this game would still be the great game it was in 2014.
This, combined with the new 7 day item hold, makes it seem like valve does not care about the state of it's game and isn't listening to the community. The fact that people are FORCED to play FaceIT (or similar third party server hosts) just to avoid the sheer number of cheaters is proof that this game needs more attention from it's developers.

tl;dr - amazing core game which is definately worth the price, but with a significant cheating issue. I reccomend giving it a miss and play a newer fps or waiting for the game to imrpove.
