Not recommendable in its current state. Public servers require kicking tens, dozens of bots every game. That is if you can find enough people who know how to vote.

I highly recommend that you play Paladins.

The Paladins community can be very self-consuming and the game has been declared dead 100 times by now, almost as often as TF2. However I believe that right now is a golden era of the game that you should experience while it still lasts. As of writing this, infinite shield Makoa and Burn Monster! Tyra are the largest balance issues the game faces. While these are issues that are certainly deserving of changes, I find that as a whole, Paladins is in a really good place. It has a high and consistently playing base. The content we've gotten hasn't always been perfect but the newest champions we've received, like Vora, Raum, Tiberius, Atlas, etc. have all been A+ additions. Not to mention that we've seen positive reworks of older maps, Frozen Guard especially. The real issue with the game at the moment is just that balance changes are sometimes slow to come, leading to long periods of meta dominance. However, something that makes Paladins so special is that although there is a "meta", virtually any team composition can work so long as the players are skilled and choose characters that compliment each other properly. Even deeper than that is the ability to create card loadouts for each champion, meaning that an experienced player can transform a champion that is often ignored by the meta into a powerful fighting force that compliments the uniqueness of that individual's playstyle. While HiRez definitely has a lot of control over which champions are best, the players have an equal amount of say over the matter as they develop loadouts in creative, personal, and often surprising or unpredictable ways. For this reason, Paladins continues to grow not only because the developers continuously add content, but also because players slowly develop playstyles and tactics for their favorite champions, perpetually heightening their own learning curves and becoming better players as a result.

I have nearly 600 hours of play spanning many years. I remember when payload was the premier game mode in this game, if you can believe that. I have had my ups and downs with this game as I lose and regain interest, but there have been few instances where I join a fivestack and don't have an absolute blast game after game. If you're into cooperative fantasy shooters, I cannot recommend this game enough.

As someone who loved Dishonored I to death I feel entirely confident that this has earned the privilege of being called equally good. In some ways, I even like it better. I honestly cannot understand many of the criticisms this game has received. Save for some performance issues (almost all of which are resolved by simply lowering your settings from SUPER MEGA MONDO REAL-WORLD MK II to VERY VERY HIGH, which PC players are so against for some reason) I have very few complaints. Save for one mission that is simply too challenging (you'll know when you get there) I thought that this game was as perfect of a sequel as this game could have received.

Bioshock Remastered review.

Instead of diving into the meat and potatoes of this game, i'll give you some basic information relative to your purchase/experience.

-I beat this entire game over the course of 4 or so days without experiencing a single crash whatsoever. I experienced maybe one frame drop, but because I had VSYNC enabled, it returned to 60 FPS in just a moment. Happened maybe once. I am unsure why others are experiencing crashes, but my experience was smoother than butter.
My rig is a GTX 1060 6GB card running with a RYZEN 3 2200g at 3.5 ghz with 16 GB RAM.

-This game is completely and entirely true to the original experience, with updated graphics and a few bug fixes.

Because bioshock is an incredible game, assume that everything else about it is near perfect, except these few things:

X: Sound design in this game is very sub par. This game has some of the worst 3D sound i've experienced, where you can hear enemies through walls and floors. You'll hear an enemy right behind you, turn around, and nothing. It actually turns out it was coming at you from an opposite direction. Sound effects (mostly shooting) are completely bland, and the machine gun's firing noise is almost inaudible during high-action scenes.

X: There are still several bugs buried deep in this game, such as your plasmids or weapons magically (and very frustratingly) swapping slots with no rhyme or reason. The famous bug about some hacking being completely impossible because of alarm or override squares forming a bubble around the exit has not been fixed.

X: The shooting in this game is terrible. Enemies (especially late game) tend to be complete bullet sponges who dont react at all to being shot.

NOTE: EVERYTHING ELSE IN THIS GAME IS DAMN NEAR PERFECT.

Please, pick this game up.

For new players: Prepare to get ♥♥♥♥ ED by pros.

Also for new players: Quake is a game with a massive learning curve, with an infitite amount of skill, strategy and game sense to master. You'll get there, and it's incredible when you do.

Dirty Bomb needs some serious work. To begin with, this game is hardly as original as it is described. If you've played warface, you've played dirty bomb. This game features "mercs", each with their own "abilities". However in game not only can 99.9% of the Mercs use the same Loadout, but there are several classes that each do the exact same job, such as the large group of healers In this game that have the exact same abilities (or abilities too close to make a difference). In addition this game is basically broken; matchmaking is a joke, the Loadout system gives expert players (who you will be being dominated by from level 1) a huge advantage over new players, because loadouts do not have pros and cons like an actually balanced game, some loadouts are just better in every single way and are only used by level 60s. In addition the combat is terrible, it's basically jumping and spinning to dodge bullets in up close engagements. The maps are uninspired, almost as much as the characters. All the mercs require purchase, which would be fine if you didn't need to save up for 3 weeks to buy a Merc with the same load out as one you already have. And in the description of this game, is says that no controller support is a "feature", which should tell you everything you need to know about this game.

Things I liked about the game:
1: It was exceptionally easy to run. Even with my POS pc with terrible graphics cards, I could still run the game at its highest setting with almost 0 lag. Im serious. It was insane.
2: The missions were varied. Like the previous game, you have action levels, and stealth levels, sniper levels, run and gun levels, the whole deal.
3: Captain price.
4: The weapons all felt very fluent and natural. Although technically the guns were all extremely similar, they all felt like they had different weight, and had different sounds and firing pattern.
5: Togglable controls. Probably not surprising for many, but if you have a half functional mouse like I do, being able to change the button locations is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lifesaver.
6: Smart AI. Im not going to sit here and pretent like it was totally flawless, but the AI in this game was definetly smarter and more natural than the last game.

Things I didnt like about the game:
1: The story was total ass. The entire game you are lead to believe that you are going to kill one big, bad guy, and at the last minute they change the antagonist and make you fight him instead. (the fighting was still cool though)
2: Some of the environments felt incredibly fake. In one part of the game, you fight in a suburban US neighborhood. It is so sunny, bright, flawless, and colorful that it doesnt even feel like it belongs in the game. it feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roblox map (Yes, I just said that)
3: The Mulitplayer is very fun, yet incredibly unfair. If you get a certain amount of kills, you can call in things like airstrikes, or fly helicopters or shoot off of jets. It sounds fun, until you realize that you have basically no defense from said attacks. If a few guys on the opposite team gets one of the air-attack rewards, i'd just leave the server. You wont get a chance to leave spawn. The game is over.
4: Some of the mechanics have changed. The biggest one for me is the bullet penetration. In COD 4, you could shoot through any wall like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tissue paper, but in this game, you have no idea what you can shoot through, and what you cant! it is totally luck. Sometimes it shoots through, sometimes it doesnt. It works when it feels like it.

Little things i didnt like:
-------------------------------------
1: The knife no longer stabs, it just swipes. In COD 4, you got to see the knife get stuck right into your enemy, and it was satisfying as hell. Now, you just get to see the swipe, the little bit of blood, and that's it. Why they removed the animation, i dont know, but it was cool as hell

2: Some of the attachments dont make sense. Like why would a thermal scope make my gun have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heart attack? With sniper rifles in this game, you get HUGE amounts of sway. With acog scopes, you dont. Makes sense, right? So why would a thermal scope, which looks to be the same weight and size as an acog, bounce all over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ place. I literally have no explaination for that.

OVERALL RATING:

7.8/10
