Its a fairly fun looter-shooter, but it does change a lot from Borderlands 2. the gun play and combat is better, but the loot drop rates are a lot higher and the story sucks, especially compared to Borderlands 2. If the game is on sale for like $20, its a pretty good buy, but I wouldn't pay more than $40 for it, and the DLC aren't really worth it either, so just skip those.

Its a batman Arkham clone, with the unarmed combat with parries and heavy/light strikes, combos and such. but the gameplay is honestly very good. its a shame this game didnt get more attention, its reasonably polished and full of content. the only drawback is that due to the games age, some features relying on servers dont work. but the majority of those features are just comparing race times to friends and offline scrap gathering. so you'll just have to play to get your scrap. not a big deal. 8.5/10

Man, this is another game that deeply makes me want a "mixed" option for steam reviews. The gameplay is good, and faithful to the original 3 games. it is most like call of pripyat and generally focuses on side quests and stashes as sources of income, which when done alongside the main story give a healthy 60 hour playtime for a full playthrough.

However, the game is obviously rushed, buggy, unpolished, and runs like ♥♥♥♥. but its set in an amazingly atmospheric environment, steeped in gritty & dark themes, with game play working to enforce the worlds uncaring attitude for those within it.

So its a stalker game. with rough edges, an amazing environment with a mediocre story and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance. just. like. the. originals.

overall: it was worth my time, and my money. it'll get a bit better with time, but i wouldnt count on much improvement in performance. 7.7/10.

If there was ever a game that could be called Art, it'd be cyberpunk, and Phantom liberty takes it to the next level. absolute masterpiece. ive never quite had a moment like sitting in the credits after SPOILER: Killing So Mi. the entire DLC was incredibly well made, and incredibly fun. i couldve done without the horror esque section in somewhat damaged but that was genuinely the only somewhat negative thing i can say about it, though i respect the choice as it gave the antagonist more weight as a threat. 10/10 its actually a masterpiece of a DLC. ive never been more satisified with a purchase.

wish i could give this a neutral review. while 95% of the time this thing just fails to launch and is generally unstable, it is incredibly powerful. the only reason this wasnt a hesitant positive review is that Xedit exists and can take care of all the simple stuff very well.

its somehow trying to be a a modern sorta movement shooter with hero shooter mechanics and still runs on a 16 year old engine and it shows. There are 2 playable maps and the rest suck, the vehicles are just not fun to engage, too much of the customization and weapons are locked behind grinding. all to say, its still battlefield, but now theyve ruined the distinction between the classes (they all play the same and can equip most of the same weapons). at least i didnt pay much for it

Badger this ♥♥♥♥ was not gas. i died repeatedly on kaleidoscope because they let people spawn on the buildings.

disassembling blueprints (even one piece at a time) crashes my game. how the ♥♥♥♥ do you miss this in testing

While theres definitely a learning cliff, this game is phenomenal. It runs impressively well, provides an deep logistics system to play with, and has plenty of ways to make the game easier or harder if you struggle at first. The only thing i didnt really like was the first tutorial mission insisting on agriculture, which is accurately slow and inconsistent, requiring a sophisticated logistics system to use, just to save 5 rubles per tonne of crops. however, you can just import crops and come back to agriculture later once youve learned the logistics tech required to use agriculture in your supply chain. Definitely gonna become one of my top games in the future, it handles city building and logistics 1000 times better than cities: skylines.

10/10 my first tank extraction was a Maus. dunno where to go now though, ive already peaked
