if you want to play a game that's well polished and works in the way you'd expect it to, you'd be better off looking for something else.

i have played this game for nearly 9-10 months and it has gotten progressively worse since i bought it.

when i play killer, there's sound bugs, i freeze whenever an action is performed and the game runs very poorly. on other games i can average between 150-250 fps yet on dead by daylight it can barely scrape 60 fps. my condolences to any console players that put up with this ♥♥♥♥

when i play survivor i notice the bugs less because i am playing with friends and likely joking around, but the same issues exist. not being able to hear myself repairing gens, huge freezes whenever a gen is completed/ when an event happens and poorly optimised gameplay make the only redeeming quality of the game the fact that i can play it with my friends.

alongside this, the developers are not free from controversy what with the NFT bs with the hellraiser chapter and their genuine disconnect to the fact that their game can be broken as ♥♥♥♥ sometimes

no other multiplayer game of this size that i know of has this many issues and its just a bit disheartening, because i used to really love playing this game - and used to play it a lot when i first got it

i hope that in future they can roll patches that will make the game not-so-ass and actually run properly at a decent framerate, but until then i highly encourage new players to put their time and money elsewhere
