I want to be upfront about why I don’t go first in trades. When trading CS2 skins, sending money before receiving a skin leaves you vulnerable to losing that money with no way of getting it back. I could send the money first, but there’s no guarantee you’ll send the skin, and once the money’s gone, it’s gone.

On the other hand, if I send skins first, there's a chance you could take them and back out of the deal. This leaves me with lost skins and no way to recover them. Plus, if someone takes skins first and doesn’t send money, they risk being banned by Steam for violating trade policies.

I will only go first if you have a solid reputation and a good history of completed trades. If you meet that, I'm happy to work something out with you.

If you’re not comfortable with that, I totally get it. Feel free to use middlemen or other trusted services for larger trades. Just know that I’m all about keeping things fair and safe for both of us, which is why I don’t go first.

A trade hold is the period of time after a trade is accepted where Steam holds the items before they’re delivered. These holds can last up to 15 days, especially if either party doesn’t have Steam Mobile Authenticator enabled.

A: If you don’t have the Steam Mobile Authenticator, or if the trade is done within 7 days of setting it up, a 15-day trade hold will apply. Also, if Steam Guard wasn’t previously enabled, you’ll face a 15-day restriction on trading and using the Community Market once it's activated.

📄 Q: What do I do after setting up Steam Mobile Authenticator?

A: Once the authenticator is set up, you’ll need to wait 7 days to lift the trade hold. This is to ensure that no one else can access your account and set up the authenticator on their phone. If you think someone made unauthorized changes, you can contact Steam for assistance.

📄 How can I check if my trade will be on hold?

Try sending a trade offer. If the trade will be on hold for 15 days, you’ll see a yellow warning message when you select your item.

If I declined your friend request or unfriended you, here are some reasons:

Your account is flagged on STEAMREP.
Your profile is set to private (hiding info).
Your account looks suspicious.
You sent me a suspicious link on my profile.
