I feel like this game doesn't get as much credit as it does. This game and Q3A are the reason we have the FPS shooters today. For better or worse, valve would not have had as much impact on the fps story genre had id software not given them a copy of the engine before it went GPL. I really appreciate this game and the times that I have had playing it for 17 years. Hope this game never dies.
