I say this with zero hyperbole or irony, to me this is the best game in the Supergiants catalog. The world is unique and gorgeous, characters charming and interesting, and the gameplay (outside the visual novel sections) tense and satisfying. Not to mention the story takes advantage of the fact that its written in a video game without resorting to constant 4th wall breaks we've seen a million times already (don't get me wrong they're fun but are quickly becoming stale). This has to be one of the most unique and immersive games i've ever played and it's genuinely upsetting so many people are willing to throw it aside because they're expected to read some text. Only thing truly missing is online multiplayer.

If you can read and can appreciate a story, play this game, you will not regret it.
