A charming, fun and relaxing management sim that combines fishing and running a restaurant. The game constantly introduces new mechanics which in turns never makes for a dull moment, without being overwhelming either. Its relaxing atmosphere is paired with a solid, not too easy gameplay loop. It's a game I can see myself playing for countless of hours in a row without being bored anytime soon!

Great music, charming pixelart, addictive gameplay, what's not to love?

Early Access Review
It's warband with a fresh coat of paint. Compared to what we were expecting out of the game feature wise, it's extremely hollow with little to no depth added since warband. The battles are way better and the audio/visual design for armors, battles and some of the towns are fantastic. All the management however still feels like early access, and with release a month away that's not going to change any time soon. Quests are still very dull and the writing in the game is pretty much non-existent. There's nothing unique about the lords you meet or characters you interact with and the whole game just lacks any sort of personality. Warband had recognizable lords, funny voice lines and a sort of crusty charm that is absent from Bannerlord. The multiplayer is in my opinion worse, with custom servers still not being supported, and the loadout system being less complex and toned down you'll have a better time on warband multiplayer.

The only promising thing about this game releasing soon is that modders will hopefully have an easier time making this the game it should've been.

In its current state I can't in good faith recommend the game. Before the game launched they patched in Denuvo which has severely decreased the games performance for customers, but it's not reflected in the reviews that came out before the game was launched, making it as anti-consumer as it gets.
But that's unfortunately not all. The game has some core issues that make it less fun than previous entries, primarily the campaign mechanics. Some of the chaos realms are amazing to look at, but the surrounding gameplay isn't fun. The race against the AI is frustrating and they clear the chaos realms with ease, but for you it'll mostly be a boring slog of identical battles with infuriating corruption traits on your legendary lord and armies that constantly need replenishing. The main battles in the chaos realms are nice to look at and provide some variation with attacking and defending points, but the way to these battles makes you groan when it's time to do them again.
The biggest issue by far however is that they've made a Total War game that discourages territorial expansion. The more you expand the more rifts to the chaos realm you'll have within your territory, and the more rifts you have, the more chaos corruption will spread with invading armies. Since you'll have your legendary lord and army locked away battling in the chaos realm, you'll be left with whatever resources you have to combat these invasions. You'll be lucky if you can field another good army to fight the invaders, but with the replenishment nerf you'll be stuck trying to get your numbers up before you can engage again. And while all this happens the AI will either decide to stand idly by, or attack you ignoring most other of their enemies.
It's a shame, because there are a lot of needed changes to the Warhammer TW series like the changed sieges and minor settlement battles, diplomacy overhaul and the new races are all interesting and unique. I would honestly wait until the CA patches out Denuvo, and patches in the Mortal Empires campaign.

Decent enough game with a fun but so far limited gameplay loop that initially offers some good scares but that diminishes over time, though considering the price of the game it's not a criticism that holds much water. It is a good gateway horror game for horror newbies like myself, that is worth picking up, especially if you can get a few friends onboard.

This game hosts an excellent narrative, unique characters, fantastic worldbuilding, meaningful choices, charming art style and an absolutely amazing soundtrack, all while being basketball with fire pits and special abilities.

The game is best described as a mix between a visual choices where you learn about the world, characters and lore and make choices that effect the story and the gameplay of the second element which is the party based 3v3 dunk the big ball in the opponents massive fire pit gameplay. The elements are excellently intertwined, and the game has a very natural flow with tons of charm.

If you're already a fan of Super Giant games this is a must play. If you in general like story driven games with interesting world building, then you can't pass up on it either. I wish I had played this game to completion sooner. The game is about 15 hours and I'd say it's a much better experience playing it yourself than watching someone else play it.

I started off by playing though the entire campaign, spending plenty of time running the tutorial speed challenge so I knew that I understood the game mechanics. The campaign is brilliant. It takes about 6-10 hours depending on how much of a sucker you are for searching for collectibles. The game has a beautifully paced story mode that plays around with different mechanics just the right amount of time before things get stale. It has some very memorable missions and some decent written characters and voice acting. The gameplay makes this campaign together with some excellent scenery and memorable moments.

For the multiplayer I'm a bit torn so far. Gameplay wise it seems pretty standard with a good movement system combined with the titan combat and a wide array of weapons. The map quality differs from great to not so great. The biggest issue is that as a new player you'll get your ass handed to you a lot because of the lack of a proper skilled based matchmaking system. You'll get paired up with players with thousands of hours and either enjoy an easy victory, or a long a painful defeat.

For the last section I want to point out the excellent performance on this machine running a Gtx 970, 16gb of ram, a 3.20 ghz cpu on windows 10. This goes for both the multiplayer and the singleplayer modes.

A totally addicting charming little game about farming, making friends, getting married and catching fish. Also the multiplayer is hilarious and it's the first time I've had a go at my friends for stealing my pickled vegetables.

This game is great fun in singleplayer. However the multiplayer is absolutely shameful. It's so garbage that it doesn't work. Desyncs, different starting ages between players, host being booted to main menu. It's atrocious. And every single time the game ♥♥♥♥♥ up and you get booted back to the main menu you need to relaunch the game because the game is now corrupted and can't run multiplayer. And to top it all of the DLC policy of these games is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shamful and paradox should be ashamed of themselves.
