I personally think its better than warthunder in its current state imo.

The Atmosphere alone is worth the money.

Add ultrawide and fix the controller issues and we'll talk.

Game's good, gunplay is good, movement is good, honestly they stepped it up a notch. Will update as I go. AI is Dumb as a box of rocks, expect useless bot teammates. Enemies turn into fairly decent bulletsponges with difficulty similar to helldivers.

It's literally the next iteration of Sins of a Solar Empire after Rebellion.

This is the game in the series where it reached it's peak mechanically. It's just old and not ported well.

It's an auto battler mobile game that was released on steam at EOS on the mobile device market. Value is there, but the mechanics are heavily designed for mobile phones (See buying unit packs one at a time in A Call To Arms), so it's relative to the cost of a price of a big mac meal.

Pros:
-Metal Slug Story with individual factions
-Sprites are unique and not AI generated crap.
-You can sink hours into this at your own pace, and honestly you can put it on auto while watching a TV show.

Negatives:
-Gatcha Game. So expect grind and terrible mechanics designed for a mobile game.
-Items: Ok, so I'm trying to understand why there isn't an easier way to obtain equipment other than, farm the same stages a dozen times.

broken for me as of now, 1 FPS and pretty much goes frame by frame. Do not know why, kinda unfortunate.

Literally Helldivers 1. There's technical issues early on be aware. The gameplay value is there and the difficulty between the levels is on point. Just needs vehicles now.

Game is a mechashooter similar to Armored Core. Look the bosses aren't that difficult, there's a lot of bullet spam, but if you learn the damage patterns and how to use your mech right which is stay mobile, you'll learn to love this game.

Why wouldn't you use this masterpiece of a tool.
