Finally beaten the game, gonna revise this review.

Bought the whole mafia definitive trilogy for 15$ thanks to a sale.

What can be said about the first mafia? It's a good story with some bumpy mission design, but nothing that ruins the experience too much. Avoid playing on classic mode if you'd like to avoid many hours of frustration. the game has a lot of driving missions sprinkled throughout, which normally wouldn't be an issue, but sometimes the AI drivers can be a bit weird.

In one of the last missions while chasing someone, I had the car i was chasing stop in its tracks because a taxi decided it would be a great idea to just park in the middle of the road!

You'd think this would be a blessing because i'm in pursuit of this guy, but no. I get off my motorcycle, figure i can just hijack their car and end the mission or something, but then was met with a mission failed screen telling me the guy got away- When he was 2 feet away from me.

Oh, and as I stated before.

To whomever designed that early racing mission.
I hope both sides of your pillow are warm at night, you sick bastard.

Short, sweet and checks all the boxes for a decent little indie game.
best way i can describe it is king's field on mushrooms, but in the best way possible.

Finally made an account, got into the extraction mode, And the entire chat was nothing but rednecks screaming about politics

It's a yes and no.
New World is the lunchables of mmos, you picked it up because it was in the clearance section.
It's not the best, but you could do alot worse, but lets be real, you're gonna get sick of the lunchables

While i do recommend the game , i recommend coming in with friends. I've hit a quest where i have to cross under a bridge. This bridge is a choke point and gets camped frequently. Ended up just ignoring the quests and the game devolved into a more arcade-y tarkov.

Alot of items will be bound to you, such as guns; so dying isn't a big deal, you may lose some ammo, medkits and at worst, the loot you've been collecting for the past 20 minutes.

gunplay is fun, my session quickly devolved from doing quests to running around with my new favorite AK just murdering whoever i saw, however the AI enemies can be a bit annoying. Hounds can rush you down in a pack, using a shotgun is more effective than using an AK. Rats are the same as hounds just a little smaller and i think a bit faster, pigs and boars tend to be spongey early on and can lead to some annoying deaths.

Overall the game is fun, quests can be a bit annoying to follow but in the end you'll probably get distracted killing the other faction

Got into a match with a friend via crossplay, Crashed mid match, game never worked again
