This game is genuinely a masterpiece. An absolute joyride from start to finish. I'm a massive Star Wars fan, and a total sucker for skill-tree, melee-combat-focused games, but overall, you really only need to be into the latter to enjoy yourself. This game is on the same level as the Batman Arkham series. And, like the BA series, I'm gonna say that cliche'd, hyper-obvious statement that gets thrown around every five seconds for games like these: This really does make you feel like a Jedi.

When this game first came out, I was far too young to play, but over the course of my life, I heard everyone say that it was a masterpiece. So now, 7 years later, I've gotten and completed the game. Does it still hold up to a first playthrough in 2020?
Pros:
-The graphics are pretty good
-The story is compelling
-The setting of being in this dangerous, raw wilderness, being beaten down at first but growing to become a cold killer just like your cultist enemies is chilling, yet incredible to watch unfold.
-The combat feels sooooooo satisfying!
Cons:
-The voice acting ranges from painfully mediocre to god awful
-The game is pretty buggy. It's not like Cyberpunk-at-launch levels of bugginess, but it still has a noticeable amount. Most of them aren't gamebreaking, only visual, but 1 out of every 10 forces you to restart from a checkpoint, which can get annoying.
-The score is... well I can't really say it's bad. Y'know why? Because there basically is none! 75% of the time, there won't be any music, and in that 25% where there is, it's nothing special, or even anything you'll remember. Hell, I finished the game just today and I've already forgotten any music that played during the game!
-The game drags a bit by the end.

Overall, Tomb Raider 2013 is a fun game with a good story. It holds up well enough, but I'd say it shows signs of becoming outdated soon. Overall, 7.5/10. Buy it if it's on sale like I did. Idk the full price, but if it's under $10, then definitely get it.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is a suprisingly great game. Truth be told, I only got it because I don't have a PS4 to play Spiderman and this was on sale. But damn, this game is amazing, even for someone like me who doesn't even like Batman. The stealth missions are amazing and satisfying. The story is engaging. And while the default, hand-to-hand ground combat is a little dry by today's standards, it helped pave the way for masterpieces such as Jedi Fallen Order. Overall, I give it an 8.5/10. Definitely pick this one up.

Edit: 4 years later, I'm a raving Bat-fan. I have the character plastered all over my walls, bookshelves filled with his comics. All because of this game.

Also ngl while I love Kevin Conroy, MAN he was phoning it in for this game...

Titanfall 2 is a masterpiece. An underrated gem. A game that everyone deserves to play at least once in their lifetime. The campaign is amazing in both gameplay and storytelling, and the multiplayer is just an onslaught of nonstop, fast paced, engaging action that will leave you satisfied every time. I cannot recommend this game- no, this experience- enough.

I got this game because I had never played Halo before and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. It did. So far I have only played through CE, but I'm sure that the other games are just as good, if not better. The combat is simple yet fun and the story is engaging. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a classic single-player FPS expirience.

TF2 is a masterpiece. The characters are memorable and fun, the combat is really well crafted, and while the main servers are overrun with bots, community servers are still kicking after all these years.

Edit: VALVE. FIX YOUR DAMN GAME.

Edit 2: Oh. Uh. Wow! They actually did fix their damn game!
