Haven't laughed this hard in a long time. And the first non-MarioKart game that my gf's asked to play again. Repeatedly.

Out of context, or for anyone listening to us screaming at each other "I NEED MORE LETTUCE!" or "DO THE BLOODY DISHES, I NEED PLATES!" must sound odd, but it's the only way to play it.

The art style is gorgeous, the music is whimsical and entirely appropriate.

And this is all the more fantastic when you realise it was made by two (count 'em, two) human males.

Enjoying this immensly. No technical issues apart from one CTD and several instances of game minimising. A beautiful, ground-breaking game let down by myriad console-related issues, specifically UI design decisions.

Looking forward to seeing what the team will do in future updates.

I still play this today, keep coming back to it. Few other games capture the essence of starting with nothing and working your way up to create something. Races are exciting and visceral. And it still looks great.

Shame the rest of the series gave you free cars, etc. This is the pinnacle of the series, went backwards from here in my opinion.

After almost 1000 hours in the game, I'm not playing any more, and certainly not giving them any more money.

The endless stream of ridiculous, overpriced DLC was one thing, and now the new bandwagon-jumping "pay-to-unlock-skins" update (after insisting they'd never add microtransactions).

From plucky indie developer to shameless, money-grabbing liars.

I'm out.
