A wonderful city builder, especially with the Colonial Charter mod. There is a lot to do and a ton of variety in the base game, but the vast array of workshop mods make the possibilities almost limitless. My mother is 70 and addicted to this game.

A wonderful way to blow off steam. Great music and graphics.

Grim, stark, and sad, but still enjoyable to play. Similar in tone to Frostpunk and other post-apocalyptic survival games, but with an interesting and unique art and play style.

A lovely way to waste time or a challenging hobby if you take it seriously, just like real fishing. Lovely, varied settings; a wide array of fish to catch; lots of gear to try.

What a lovely, addicting game! Simple to figure out the basics, but a nice challenge (especially at harder difficulties). There is excellent variety and a lot of long-term playability. It runs well with no bugs that I've found. If you like city builders like Sim City or Northguard, I highly recommend this!

Not free! The free version is highly limited on how many games you can play (1 every 12 hours) and which expansions you can use (none). Just get Table Top Simulator and play the whole game as often as you like, with any expansions (plus pretty much any other board game or table-top RPG) for free.

My family and I have been relying on Tabletop Simulator for family game nights throughout quarantine and it's been a lifesaver. Before that, my friends and I used it for board games and D&D regularly. Wonderful collection of free-to-play workshop content.

Well-made, enjoyable, and surprisingly vast! There is a lot to do, craft, and explore. Great solo or team playability. Plus, I love that you can level up your player and visit friends' servers without losing levels, knowledge, or gear. Altogether an excellent experience and (shockingly) a complete game on release!

UPDATE: I played another 20 hours and I still wouldn't recommend it. Every step is incredibly annoying: logging in the first time, trying to team up with others, sitting through the slow/unskippable dialog, awkward controls (VERY badly ported from console; even with buttons remapped it is frustratingly awkward and unintuitive), bugged actions, boats stuck on scenery, repetitive quests, etc. They reduced the price from $60 to $40, but it is absolutely NOT worth it. As a fun side note: I searched their forums to look for other people having the same problem, found MANY, posted as a response to one of them, and was told that if I posted again I would be banned...because the post was older but still open (or some other BS).
