This is a fun game.

Too bad Sony violated their own terms of service and are requiring Steam users to make a PlayStation account, and are region locking the game for Steam users outside the Playstation network.

Bravo Sony, Bravo. Snatching defeat from the jaws of success.

Sony was sent back to Cyberstan, and the Helldiver, too, resume their watchful peace.

It's fun with friends, and if you like the lore, picking up mods that add the full mech modification makes it much more immersive and a bit of a scavenger hunt for mechs you want and like.

It has been interesting watch Rust evolve over time, from zombie filled radiation zones to hot air balloons and beautiful.

If you like surivial crafting, you will enjoy Rust.

By itself, It is a fun way to unwind and just waste things, but you can team up with 3 other people, preferably friends, and really have a fun time both succeeding and failing missions.
Also has a leveling and prestige system to more dedicated players, but casual player will have no problem joining the game and getting get at it. as it has a mild learning curve, especially if you are familiar with FPS. Overall, with the loads of DLC, replayablity, and great soundtracks, it is an excellent buy.

Within the first fives minutes of the game, I killed myself with a boulder whilst trying to heal myself.
