Meh, it's alright.

I sunk about 8 hours into the game from when it was first released, and it was buggy and kept crashing, so I gave it a negative review. I could hardly make it through 10-minutes of a chapter without an issue.

Nearly 8-months on, I've given it another go, sunk a further 6-or so hours, and all the issues seem to be mostly resolved and the game runs a lot smoother. Makes you wonder why they couldn't have made sure it was fine before release.

I platinumed it in 51 hours. How sad am I?!

On a serious note, for a game which is 5-years old, the graphics are still beautiful, and so much better from when I initially played it on ps4. Whilst there are several interesting points, like the two bridges in Cyrene, but the buildings get very sameish quite quickly. Also, after coming from ps4, game play can feel a bit clunky with a keyboard. Overall, it's still a good game and out of all the AC dlcs I've played, Curse of the Pharaohs tops them for enjoyability - my only negative comment is is that it's not all that long.

My nephew is obsessed with Ancient Egypt and loves the discovery tour function, so that's another plus to get more out of the game!

I got to watch a peeing contest in Elysium. Really confused - unsure who won and what the actual aim of it was, but 10/10 would watch again, might try and take part next time.

Do you enjoy staring at circles running around the pitch chasing that dream feeling of playing Football Manager 2005 when you were 14 and you had nothing to worry about other than which striker you were going to play? It will not give you that nostalgic feeling but you'll still buy it and stare aimlessly into the void that is your PC screen watching the same dull circles and your partner will weigh up leaving because you'll never amount to anything as you waste your life. But jokes on her, I took FC Roskilde to the Champions League.
