Start as humble lamb, gain a few followers and slay a few lesser gods. Turn every follower into a worm, robbing them of individuality. Marry a follower to sacrifice them the next day. Harvest the dead to feed the living. Enforce strict eugenics just to harvest the unhatched egg to restore a worthy follower to their youth. Slay greater God. 10/10 would do it all again.

The game has some flaws and rough spots, like it's not always made clear in your research if a target has children or not and this can lead to a failure and the day being replayed with new targets. But it's an interesting game and I enjoy how it changes up the goals. One time you need to find a target who does this or that out of the 3 possible targets. Another time you have to investigate the two other listed people, to learn when you can strike your actual target.

Early Access Review
Played it briefly and I am finding the game is in a way to early state for it to be up and for sale. Enjoy what I played, was creeped out. But the game has no menu system. Audio was a level that I could just barely hear it. I suspected the game didn't have a save system in place, so after running the first "mission" I closed and reloaded the game, and sure enough I am back at the start. No kind of system to tell you what you can do, how to do so. I reach a spot where crouching is required and I tried the key commonly used for that. But I was left spamming keys to see if they do anything since the game doesn't tell you anything. Also the sound after the first "mission" is horrible. Early game, probably place holder, hopefully they work on something new.

Thumbs down in current state, because I honestly feel like it is WAY too early and needs a lot of work on UI, settings, a save system, etc. But once the game has some more work I can see this being a game I revisit and love at that point.

The game isn't horrible, it has a cute design going for it, is very fun early on as you rebuild and then keep remodeling these different "resorts". But this game becomes a horrible grind later in the game as you need high end materials and recipes that cost outrageous amounts for what you're bringing in. Sadly the trick to bypassing this is stocking up the resorts that require heat or food, hiring the right help to book your rooms, and then just walk away from the game as your money builds up. You'll be doing this often, sadly because there's really nothing to keep your busy and entertained in the time that it takes to build up the massive fund you'll need to buy the things you need to upgrade and to offer better foods.

Then there's the story and characters. The characters don't bring too much. You'll interact with them once introduced but they won't really offer much shortly afterwards. You'll need to go back to them at some point to get a quest item, and that's about it. The guest coming to your resorts and just random nothing npcs. The story beyond playing as a bear, rebuilding these locations and bringing back visitors feels really out of place.

I recommended the game because it has things going for it, but this is really a game that requires an additional options. There are things you'll probably enjoy about the game if this is the type of game you play, but it is very flawed and has a bit working against it that might turn you off, even if this is your type of game.

A wonderful, relaxing game that has helped me maintained sanity after stressful 12 hour days at a job I hate. Something just so relaxing about the hum of a power washer as I spray down dirt, grime, algae and whatever else may grow, spawn and collect at these locations and devices. There's goofiness tossed in as well, especially with the SpongeBob DLC. I love, love this game and look forward to future fun add ons.

Life is much too short to play this game which lacks all of the charm and wonder of other Bethesda Fallout titles. NPCs are boring. Quest are boring. The game itself is frustrating.

Gave the game multiple chance, started the boring, uninspiring beginning more then once over the years. Pushed myself to continue pass into additional quest. Just found myself bored and frustrated. Quit after a few hours playing and being frustrated. Vowed I'd give it another chance the next day. But now upon awaking in the morning after I am coming to the realization that my life is too short to continue giving this boring game anymore time when I could be doing any number of things.

One positive. I did bump into Cultists who looked interesting. I am assuming that they were workshipping a Mothman type of being. They actually looked new from the other games. But I was so starved for anything new and interesting at that point, that's probably why they stuck with me.

Fun experience of hunting a cryptid through creepy environments. This is a game purely about being creeped out, so if that's not for you, this is probably not the game you're looking for. A very slow game, walking around an environment, exploring abandoned cabins and campsites, finding secrets and having random weird events occur that I still don't understand. Animals, the Skinwalker itself and worshipers will come upon you and attempt to end your play thru.

Sometimes a bit depressing as characters deal with loss, regret, failing memories, and past events, but always beautiful, a bit like a classic Disney animated movie. A lot to do, recipes to learn, homes to build, ship to upgrade, animals and crops to care for. Love this game.

This is one of those games that seem very basic and childish, but actually can keep you hooked and deeply addicted for long stretches of time as you explore the different areas, both above and below ground. This game has been out for ages now and it is still being supported and having events like a crossover with the Don't Starve Together game.

Very well done game. Creepy and dark, many different choice to make as you replay over and over to try to get to alternate endings. The game itself is very short and contained but the point here is to try over and over to find secrets and new endings. Contains corpses, murdering, monsters, creeps, traps, and lots of death as you struggle to save your family or give into the house that is trying to twist and kill you all. I'd recommend this game to others, just because I might be horrible at it doesn't make the game horrible.
