u wanna see your troops instantly teleport back to mainland europe after naval invading canada without being able to reach the frontline before the first battle (you successfully navalinvaded)....? no? u sure i can do it again.

No seriously though as much as i want to like this game the combat system ruins it which is insane to me since this game rightfully does not need to focus on combat and still it manages to fail so heavily that its actually offputting.

A struggle. Not to complete, but to close the game after opening it. The DLC encompasses not only a breathtaking storyline and nice sidemissions but has incredible music and influence on your game outside of it's specific missions. Again same warning as my main game review: This will make you feel hella empty when completed and nothing comes for free in cyberpunk. Have a nice time enjoying the wild ride it takes you on. It's worth it.

I'm gonna be fair here: The game wasn't good when it launched. It wasn't good for a long time after that either. Simply because the gameplay and the bugs weren't endurable (my first run was cut short by a mission failing to trigger and thus keeping me out of ever advancing past the prologue. Yes, I did contact the support about it. They told me to sleep with a joytoy and sadly it didn't help).

By now I can however wholeheartidly recommend this game. While the story is not as replayable as I might want (It does have many ends and different storylines but the start of the game has some events that keep me from replaying it often) I still keep finding myself drawn back to this game. The worldbuilding is immaculate. The characters are mostly well written. I find myself drawn into this world just to exist in it more often than I would like to admit. The ambience feels so cluttered, but in such a fitting way that just feels right. Even when you're out in the desert you sometimes find a hidden secret and it keeps the world feeling alive even if most npcs aren't that advanced. It's a capitalist, ad-covered hell but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it a vibe.

Buy this game just to at least play it once and get through the mainstory (tho there are many ends and you may not find yourself happy with what you get). It won't neccessarily be pretty. This game can result in a feeling of heavy emptiness when finishing it as you will find yourself unhappy with how things may progress. But that simply shows how well you can immerse yourself into it. For the ride it takes you along you will defintily enjoy it.

So lets get to it, played it a little and did have fun but found too many flaws in casual play: If you dont want to spend the time to get to know people and properly join a regiment and do events and stuff then this game maybe has a couple hours off fun inside it and i would grab it on sale. HOWEVER and this is a big however: gets used to only playing with normal rifles and grenades. If you pick artillery and just get your stuff done the chances of somebody running by and grabbing the mortar youre using to then completly ruin the previous aim you had are near 100. You can't really play with the machine gun either because once you construct it some other engineer will run by and destroy it while youre reloading to place it somewhere else for themself. I wouldn't specifically mention this if it didn't happen to me in multiple lobbies (while still killing players in said lobbies with the same exact machine gun. I would get it if it was badly placed and nobody was killing anything but this is outright griefing). NOW if u get into a regiment and play with friends then this game does have a lot more teamspirit behind it. Else it is mostly the memey wargame you see on youtube. Some guy playing trench cello while around him people are dying. It's beautiful but nothing for long term fun unless you seriously plan to get invested.

Still I do recommend the buy.

Oh you want a fun card game experience? Then don't play this because by the time it's your turn your second child has been born and you can surrender simply because you'll die off old age soon anyways.

The game itself is pretty well made and the Solo adventures actually take good care of introducing you to a few decks. It's not hard to rank up or to get more cards if you're willing to basically just watch a movie on the side and wait for your opponent to spend 2 minutes staring at their screen to then do a 10 card move to summon one monster u just kill with one card.

TLDR: Cutting yourself into your toenail is more fun than this game can currently provide.

Edit 2: it's become somewhat decent but still nowhere near a finished game and worth the pricetag. Looks like its the same process that we had with BFV

I thought I could enjoy this game if i kept telling myself the bugs aren't that bad and the limited content was alright and that it ran badly on my pc was my PC's issue and that whenever my bullets went through enemies it was just bad luck and when my rockets exploded midair after flying for 1 second or they did a full 360 and hit a wall it was somehow not an actual game issue. Well... the game activly destroyed my GPU and as such I will advise you all to not get it. Portal mode was a nice idea with a bad execution. Overall get one of the older Battlefield titles and it will be better for you.

why is it 3 am

I already love this game, once Co-op comes out I think I will spend even more time in it.
