let me just get this off my chest. CONGRATULATIONS BLOOBER! i cannot believe after everyone had shades of doubt running trough their veins saying things like “oh man this is another resident evil clone” “this looks like a mobile game” and Bloober has pulled success from the jaws of defeat. i am so glad Silent Hill is back and to modern systems. Silent Hill 2 was a childhood classic of mine, and to see it being remade with passion and paying homage to the original material is so awesome to say the least. first off the graphics are AMAZING! while this game uses Unreal 5, it’s not too performance heavy on my system (so far) with a 3060 @ 1440p. it is even more immersive than in the original Silent Hill 2 if i do say so myself. the combat is pretty good too, nothing to special, but it’s good. the SOUND DESIGN….. my oh my. the sound design on this game is 11/10 to say the least. from the Lying Figures’ blood swelshing movement, to the loud and bassy footsteps of James’ shoes as they’re hitting the damp concrete is so good (USE HEADPHONES!!!!). i’m not that far into the game, and i do not think my opinion of the game will change for the worse, speaking that i love Silent Hill 2 and even if it was a bad game, there will still be room for it in my heart.

11/10

man, what is going on over at Sony HQ that they’ve just been dumping out the most terrible and unoptimized ports recently? some people can play the game just fine, while others (me) have so many issues like not being able to literally load into the game, crashing every so often, and this is not a problem for me personally, but Sony can you please just stop putting the words “Playstation Account” anywhere in the video games because so many people complain about that and it’s obviously not doing any good for you media-wise. good game, terrible port.

Game- 8/10

Port- 3/10

needless to say, i love Red Barrels. to put it simply, if you love Outlast and Outlast 2, you will love this game. the new feature of online co-op is such a good addition to the Outlast franchise and it just works. the game plays exactly like any other Outlast and does it better because there’s more objectives missions to do with your friends (or solo). so many scary moments and it makes it even better you get to experience it with other people if you’d like.

Early Access Review
this ♥♥♥♥ was so bad i had to boot up my 18 year old PS3 and play the better game, Fight Night Champion (or Round 4). Now i see why there hasn't been a boxing game in so long. Companies like SCI try and get your money with awesome graphics and cool screenshots, when the core gameplay is the worst out of any boxing game i have played EVER. CHEATERS,,,,,, yes. CHEATERS in a boxing game, lmao. 95% of punches just don't even land or are the correct input you press. This game should NOT release to the public at all and needs more time in the 3 year long beta is has been sitting in.

I would absolutely love to recommend this game to others because it is so good, but the PC port for this game is just awful. Memory leak, 4GB vram problems, terribly optimized in the later areas, and Frame Gen is BROKEN!

Also let me just throw in that the steam input and inputs in the game do not match at all LMAO. QTE's dont even work with it on and you cant even turn off dualsense haptic triggers and rumble.

I’ve only been playing this game for a few hours, and so far I can honestly say that this game has a HUGE potential to become a great franchise. So many cool abilities and spirits you can use and the bosses themselves are not too difficult, and it’s very forgiving. With that being said, the graphics on this game are really good, which is expected since the game is UE5. However, UE5 always comes with a performance cost. This game is extremely demanding and will require you to turn down a few settings to medium-low depending on your specs. So far this game is worth the money and I am excited to see what the devs do next!

Man, to say the least, I love the Middle-Earth franchise. The Nemesis system is such a unique concept that is executed very well in Shadow of Mordor, but Is executed quite perfectly in Shadow of War. I love Mordor, but at the same after experiencing Shadow of War, I just can’t help but want to play that instead of Mordor but I am not saying this is a bad game. You need to play this game in order to understand the story of the second game in the series, so it’s such a good stepping stone to get the full Middle-Earth experience which you definitely won’t forget. Badass executions, cool and with a ton of variety of different Uruk characters, and most importantly different ways to approach Warchiefs and take advantage of their fears to get the higher ground in a fight. Just a true masterpiece that is made even better in the second game.

Wish I could recommend this game, but I just can’t. Terrible community filled with losers who complain or whine about basic fundamentals of the game that are meant to be used. Another case is developers are EXTREMELY slow at being on top of Bugs, Glitches, Exploits, and False Reports. You want to play this new Killer they added? Yeah good luck because with every single update adds a brand new game breaking bug that isn’t fixed until the next update, which, you guessed it, brings another bug. A continuous cycle of being fed a gourmet meal with licensed killers or survivors, then being fed hot garbage on a silver platter with a game breaking perk combo that loses its intended meaning next update and is a completely different perk than what is was on release, server issues (lag, connectivity, high ping), and of course, map related problems. Game is addicting for a period of time, but it really does make you want to question your life every time you play.
