A good conclusion to the story of the metro series. A well crafted world with plenty to explore, lots of things hidden around for the player to find. The only gripes I with the game is the Humanoid enemies are a bit much, the voice acting/pacing isn't its strong suit, and also needing a decently powerful PC for the ray tracing. The world, characters, gun play, and overall story are well worth it though, if you liked the previous ones the open world adds a lot to what the series has built.

Kicked back on the couch with my steam deck and completed it on a rainy afternoon. The dialog and the visuals are great as you walk around and complete some basic tasks, take in the mountains and see what mysteries unfold.

Great game play, fun story, easy to pick up and play for an hour or for several hours.

I do remember playing this back in 2017, and still remembered most of the main story on this play through of it. They did add some nice extras as additional stories for all the characters, and it was nice to revisit the characters and the stories.

I would recommend if you have never played this before, go in blind and try not to spoil it for yourself.

Played this game years ago, recently re-played it on the steam deck while finishing up achievements for it. Game is a bit clunky compared to the newer releases with a bug or two here and there, but all in all a fun time to be had.

It's fun to sit back on the couch with my steam deck and play a very nostalgic trilogy of games. From the music, to the character redesigns speak true to the old classics in a very nice way. Worth a buy if you remember the classics and don't want to emulate the old ones, or dig you PS1 out haha.
Can get 60 fps with the steam deck on low settings, haven't had it crash yet in the 20 hours of on and off playing.

It's a lot of fun!

I have almost 100 hours of being a porter in the Non-Directors cut, and completed all of the extras. Liked it so much picked this one up and completed the story once more! It might not be a game for everyone, and it's does have its ups and downs. Overall though, if the game seems interesting to you, would be worth getting.

However

While this game is great, if you can find a copy of the non directors cut on sale, not too much game play difference IMHO.

I like that they turned this into a redemption story, the game will always be remembered for how over hyped and under done it started out as. But I hope it will also be remembered for a developer sticking with it and giving us a great game. I'd recommend it if you like space :)

The new updates are a lot of fun, and they seem to keep coming too!

Its a fun mix of some fluid driving, a bit of looting here and there, and Batman style combat. Explore the world of Max Max as you drive around looking for scrap for vehicle upgrades and building up settlements to reclaim land from Immortal Joe. Don't forget about the fuel and water too! I had a blast driving around harpooning vehicles for their scrap, blowing them up with boom-sticks, ramming into them, just causing chaos on 4 wheels.

It's Skyrim.... only Special XD

Next few years our toasters will have a copy of Skyrim to play while we wait.
