The best online fighting game with no issue in netcode and matchmaking, but finding them is a different problem as the default lobby system is kinda weird. the floor system is a great matchmaking tool that gives a tangible view of your level.

If you want to play through the story mode tho, throw that out the window, as the story mode is just an anime movie with no game play, but if you're alright with that, it's up to you.

If you play fighting games before the one thing to note is the gatling is not the usual light to mid to heavy, the game has it's own gatling tree you should learn. It's not a bad thing but something to look for when playing from other 2d fighters.

For newer players, the amazing visual is true to the trailers and stream, arcsys definitely nailed the anime aesthetics. While the game lacks a story mode to play, the game has some single player game modes to play with arcade, mission mode, and survival. but the appeal is definitely is the online, regardless of your level of play.

overall, a really good game for new and old fighting game players alike that i highly recommend.
