I really gotta admit. I wasn't expecting such a good game for such a low price. The combat mechanics are well though-out and reward patience. Pleasing visual style with some actually creepy enemy designs and unnerving atmosphere. Sound is also good. Enemies have distinct sounds and guns sound strong. Puzzles are fun.

Now yes, it's a 2 hour campaign survival horror experience similar to Resident Evil 1. But the campaign is not the only thing you have. You also get:

1. Procedurally generated dungeon escape mode.
2. Horde survival mode.

Both unlocked after beating the campaign on any difficulty.

3. Singleplayer randomiser on normal and hard difficulty after beating Singleplayer on hard.
4. Lots of different weapons added to the Singleplayer mode after completing certain tasks.

Overall a very polished little gem and I recommend it to every survival horror fan out there. Grab this game now!

-fast paced multiplayer with a small but enthusiastic player base

-a pretty cool and unexpected ending
-lots of gore and unnerving atmosphere
-cool and creepy enemy designs
-upcoming level editor
-survival mode

Literally not a single glitch during the whole campaign, survival and multiplayer.
I cannot find any faults. Superb game: 10/10

Runs good, looks better. Okay gameplay. Love the setting. Updates come weekly or daily even and there seem to be very few bugs as well. My favourite price for any game and I can't wait to see how this game will evolve.

I've had this game for a long time and I played through it just recently. Let me just tell you in short: . Why? Well, the atmosphere is great, it feels like you're playing an old 60s dracula movie.
The enemy designs may look pretty lame by themselves but they manage to set an uneasy feeling in me whenever I have to fight a ghoul or a spirit. This is also the only game that manages to pull off the film grain effect.
The story is meh and the graphics are outdated even for a game made in 2003 but that shouldn't scare you off from it since it has some unique elements for its time, like the RNG element, which makes multiple playthroughs quite enjoyable and since this is a short game you'll want to play through it at least one more time.
The arsenal you have for fighting is pretty basic with some exclusions like the stake which is a one time use, the crucifix and the holy water which is too op.
The game is intense and fast paced with okay controls that get the job done and overall I absolutely have to reccomend this game to all horror fans out there.
