If you're looking for number go up you've come to the right place. Holy gazony. Such a simple framework being laid out with just a few characters and challenges and it already feels so fully realized.
What is missing though, different characters IN challenges, this would be outrageous folks.

unironically optimize this game better, my pc is trash but it can play other games that look like this, but this one is 6 fps somehow

Be aware that you game over in this game, you should probably play Sayonara first because that game wasn't made in the nineteen hundreds and lets you die as often as you want.
This game though has better aesthetics though (not as good as Shun's though) and also better level design (again not as good as Shun's buuut it's also a matter of opinion. Still really damn good in both regards you're not gonna wanna miss it)

DS version lowkey better, you get a map on the bottom screen and you can continue after losing all your lives.
Oh yeah did I mention this game has LIVES.
You GAME OVER in this version like a damn CAVEMAN made this port.

Reportedly it checkpoints you after a boss battle to restart there after your game overs but the first boss is such a difficulty and knowledge spike, while we're at it listen up buddy, that big tadpole? You see that island on the right? Do not go on that island, simply stall out the tadpole and a ladder will reveal itself, intuitive right?

Anyways good game, pretty fun, cool that they made it English.
