Great from a lot of angles. Force feedback and handling feel better with every patch, vehicle modding is extremely in depth and even more so with mods. Mod integration is crazy good, and makes the content pool exceptionally large. Multiplayer mod allows you to do stupid things with friends. Soft-body physics are always fun

If you're more into the competitive side of sim racing, this game is amazing. The actual feel of this game is easily a step above regular AC, force feedback feels more real, sounds are great, and it feels satisfying to get corners right. Multiplayer is a bit of a slog to get into the good servers (safety ranking grind) but after you do you can typically get into a pretty good race with minimal wait.

Probably the worst battlefield game made yet, previous games usually start out a bit rough but have decent bones that allow them to be fixed over some time (see netcode issues from bf4, bf1, balance issues with bfv, hardline) but this one has problems that really reach down to the core of it that make me doubt that's possible here. The gameplay feels completely wrong; gunplay is slow and clunky, bloom is downright annoying. Movement is subpar but nothing too crazy.

Easily the biggest sin here is the map design and styling of the game, though. Every map is gigantic, but feels completely empty, and even with 128 players on them they feel less dense than maps from when 32 players were allowed max. A lot of the maps have gigantic empty spaces that not only don't feel organic but are just downright boring and lazy. You tend to spend more time running around these flat wastelands than doing anything because the objectives are also spaced far further apart than they used to be. Having objectives split into two parts just litters the UI with an amazing amount of searing neon icons that make actually playing the game an impossiblity.

Normally, I'd say wait for the game to get some updates that fix the major issues, but this game's run so deep that it's hard to believe that any of the major issues even can be fixed. It just feels like a massive waste of what could have been an amazing game compromised by some terrible design decisions.

Possibly the greatest "all-in-one" racing sim there is, modding potential allows for basically unlimited content

If you played WAW modded zombies, this is a true successor.

If you understand it, you'll put an obscene amount of hours in it.

Save yourself, don't get addicted the the grind. You'll wake up 400 hours later with no idea what happened
