While i enjoyed the game i would recommend using a walkthrough. The game is still enjoyable without having to figure everything out yourself, and at many parts the intended action is so obtuse that I would have spent hours trying to figure it out before getting to the next part.

The game is at parts pretty enjoyable, but the graphics and gameplay are both incredibly outdated.

The games main distinction from HL1 is the "commander feature" where you can control other soldiers who have different abilities. This would have been a cool feature if 1. it was used more than ~3 times in the game, and 2. if it actually worked. These soldiers were absolutely horrendous at doing anything other than getting in the way and accidentally shooting you in the back.

The main distinction from Half-Life 1 then becomes the lack of stability that resulted in quite frequent crashes.

While at first glance this might just seem like a game about clicking on cats, players who look deeper into the game will find that actually, you also click a seagull.

If you can make it work with the broken EA-app it is a great game.

Not all that interesting. Nothing is offensively bad but you won't miss anything by skipping this.

It might have been good for the time, but today it is just a buggy and unintuitive action game.
