Fallout 4 has to be one of my new favourites, regardless of story at this rate. In my honest opinion, many games now have had stories that were either uncompleted, boring, linear, or whatever happened to the game's story if it had one during development. Fallout 4 is no exception to this, as the story does twist around in a rather interesting way, yet expected somehow.

Like any Bethesda game, it's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with regards to optimisations and glitchiness. I can have my graphics on low or high, yet the game will still find a way to drop me at 14 fps or lower. That's something I'd list as an improvement, but unfortunately the game has been running off of a modified Morrowind engine. Exactly what Skyrim was running on. A new Engine would have been a wonderful improvement, but Bethesda is pretty lazy and decided to push it to the limit. I mean, as long as the game is playable, I guess.

I've personally been more fond of gameplay as of late, and Fallout 4 gives me a lot of good ways to be the kind of person I want to be with a weapon of choice, compainion, and various perks I can use to make my type of playstyle improved significantly. Modifications can be made to weapons and have useful additions that can added to make it a powerful killing machine.

tl;dr: In my opinion Story isn't that big a deal to me anymore, needs opimisation, but I enjoy having the ability to shape myself into the type of person I want to play as in game with customisation. Overall enjoyable.

If something doesn't work right with it or if it does get complex occasionally, the community is a great place to get advice! Many awesome people have worked with models, textures, maps, etc. I've worked alongside many and there hasn't been a more friendly or easy community that I've worked with.

There's almost endless possibilities that can be done with this software if you've got the apptitude for it. Check it out if you can!
