For fans of Terraria, Core Keeper, or Rimworld, this game delivers elements from each aforementioned title in a top-down experience with co-op/multiplayer support. Players can chop, mine, craft and build to expand their settlement, and recruit NPCs from various other settlements to help with the workload. Each boss fight allows players to explore new biomes and fight tougher enemies in exchange for higher-tier crafting materials and items. With around a dozen bosses, regular content updates, and a deceptively low pricetag, this game is good bang for its buck.

Could not play single player or multiplayer due to a complete lack of the game's ability to connect to its servers or services.

Not sure why this would be an issue but I have seen a couple of other posts on the steam community that reflect a sudden loss of online function. Good luck to the people responsible for troubleshooting! Would love to play this some day.

Buy it because the developers made this with passion. Buy it because it's scary, and because it defies its point-and-click constraints, a game both nostalgic yet innovative. Buy it because it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bargain! But, above all, buy it because it's a good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game made by people who love games, and because these people deserve the chance to let lightning strike as many times as they can manage. I personally hope to see more in the future. Very rarely will you get bang for your buck, quite like this.

Stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ advertising to me in the main menu, though, you greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lizard people.

Bottom line: Stimulating restaurant management game at night, relaxing and sometimes exhilarating fishing game by day. Dave the Diver boasts afantastic soundtrack, creative characters, a gorgeous retro artstyle, and a color-spray of gameplay mechanics that will be sure to delight players young and old, experienced and new. Time to completion for a casual playthrough sits at about ~40-60 hours, so there is a lot of value here for the price, which frequently dips during sales. The addition of DLC gives the game some extra content, such as new fish and boss fights, which is enough to warrant a second playthrough for anyone who has already completed the base game.

Get it soon before the DLC's stop being free.

It is hard to recommend a game with such a bumpy release, these days. So many games pretend to be cars when their beta is merely a go-kart, via the early access system. Many games never become more than a go-kart, even upon official release. This is one of those games.

That being said, this go-kart rides relatively smoothly (mild performance issues) and reminds one of Battlefield 4, with many of its maps and other older game's maps, to boot. However, this game only boasts about one-half of the content of a typical battlefield game, in terms of unlockable content like guns, attachments, tools, or vehicle upgrades. Given the updates since its release, it is a very nice go-kart, considering the pricetag of $12.

Bottom line: Buy it for a weekend or two of battlefield nostalgia, and let the developers know that this still isn't enough for a battlefield title via a review.

Top notch level design makes portal fun, and this mod has unique, beautiful levels in droves, but sadly it lacks the funding for the writing and voice acting that made the first two games entertaining stories on top of being fun. Worth a play, regardless, for any portal fans looking for something that scratches that particular itch.

It's much better than the alpha release. Many QOL changes and new content. If you haven't played since alpha, you may be pleasantly surprised. "hard" difficulty enemies are currently extremely stressful even with a group of 3 to 5. It creates a great challenge, but building up a homestead is much more work intensive.
That being said, Kevin helps a lot. Building a base isn't as time consuming as before, but building a HOME will take a lot of time, and as seasons now exist, you cannot build over water and expect to live all year.
The lakes will freeze. Currently working through the storyline, but will revise review as gameplay goes on.

Bought during the $15 discount period. Absolutely worth $15 if you enjoy mini-golf or golf related games. Custom golf course creator is fairly robust. Campaign is challenging especially on higher difficulties. Enjoyed played with my friends.
