Tell me, has a game called "Life Simulator" ever flashed in your dreams? No, we are not talking about glamorous Sims or some epic RPG like Skyrim with cardboard inhabitants. No, have you ever dreamed of a game that would be a copy of real life with all its possibilities and freedoms? Where you can wake up, watch TV for a couple of minutes, then put on a suit and go to work, then go to a bar, skip one and end the day in the company of some beauty. And tomorrow everything will turn out completely differently.

Probably yes. Only all dreams were immediately shattered about the realities and possibilities of modern technologies. What does GTA have to do with it? The fact is that Rockstar, while leaving the concept of the series unchanged throughout its history, developed the project in the direction we have just talked about, expanding the list of actions available to the player. GTA5 is much more than a car thief simulator in an open city.

"But all this has already happened in the previous parts of the series! What's new here?" you will exclaim. We, having analyzed the question with the left hemisphere of the brain, confidently nod: really, nothing. But then, having thrown the right half, we will object: that's it. Paradoxically, but the fact is: while remaining a copy of the previous part as a whole, GTA5 is traversed and perceived in a completely new way. The point here is not even that the number of main characters has tripled, and they have turned into super-interactive guys who can play tennis, meditate, drink whiskey and stroke the breasts of strippers. Details are secondary. But their connection is the very magic that gives the game a unique flavor and distinguishes ordinary entertainment from a project with a capital letter.

GTA5 is a fundamental continuation of the series, which is a perfect example of the joint creative work of designers, screenwriters and programmers. Obviously, the task of the authors was to transfer the user to the other side of the screen, where the player gets so used to the role of the character that he does not distinguish himself from him. And if we take a closer look, we will see that the changes at all levels of gameplay that have appeared in the new part work precisely for this purpose.

The plot feed in GTA5 is radically different from everything that was before. We have more than one hero with a murky past, whose knowledge or ignorance will not prevent us from freely understanding the events taking place. This time, a performance of three actors, whose destinies are closely intertwined, is being played out on the stage. We are told a deeply personal story for each character, whose content goes far beyond the action unfolding on the screen. During the passage, we not only strive to see what will happen next, but also learn facts from the biographies of the heroes.

So, Franklin, Michael and Trevor. A young dark-skinned guy; a retired robber and a loser family man; a hot-tempered psycho with megalomania. Before our heroes meet and take up what they know how to do best, a small introduction will smoothly introduce us to each of the characters, allowing us to get deeper into the role. You immediately notice the amazing cinematography and realism of even the most ordinary conversations. The actors' acting, dialogues full of jokes, truthful characters - all this fascinates with its natural showiness. The heroes do not seek to solve the problems of humanity at all; each of them is preoccupied with minor difficulties. Franklin is trying to get out of the ghetto, Michael has problems with his family, Trevor dreams of the laurels of a businessman and a smuggler. All this personal issues are very captivating.

The plot swings slowly, allowing you to savor every moment of being in Los Santos. At first, the tasks surprise with their innocence and variety: ride bicycles with Michael's son, sit in a difficult pose during a yoga session. Some quests show completely unexpected scenes. So, one day, Franklin, moonlighting as a paparazzi, catches a secular lady doing obscenities with some guy. Before the distraught girl rushes for compromising evidence, we will be shown in detail the entire sexual act and the idyllic dialogue accompanying it…

In general, Rockstar remains true to its own traditions and brazenly spits on censorship and ratings: ubiquitous profanity, genitals (including men's), cruelty in all its manifestations. We are not moralists and look at any phenomena that are not socially welcomed in games as a necessity dictated by the requirements of the setting. However, sometimes it seems that the developers still went a little too far. This is especially true of the episode in which we, in the role of Trevor, are forced to torture an innocent person. Let's not reproach the authors once again — in any case, there will definitely be painful comrades with a heightened perception of reality who will offer the world community to arrange an extraordinary Lynch trial.

The trinity of the main characters sets the backbone of the game mechanics. Each of the heroes lives his own life, has his own house, his own list of acquaintances and quests that are available only to him. At any moment we can switch from one character to another. The camera soars into the sky, is transferred to another part of the map and lands on the hero's head, catching him by surprise: Franklin pulling himself up on the horizontal bars, Trevor lying drunk on the street, or Michael dozing at the wheel.

The procedure looks somewhat different during the execution of plot tasks. Free switching is also preserved in them, but sometimes, in order to maintain cinematography and entertainment, the game itself will "throw" us behind the backs of the heroes who are in the most "piquant" position. The missions are set just amazing, the level of dynamics and diversity here is on top. What are at least large-scale robberies worth! Before we go out on a mission, we will have to do careful preparation, choosing a team and choosing a method of work.

For example, you can rob a jewelry store in two ways - quiet and loud. In the first case, we have to put visitors and staff to sleep by letting gas in through the ventilation. In the second, we act the old-fashioned way: we boldly rush inside with a shotgun and ask the audience to tolerate our presence in the "face to the floor" position. In addition, before the main task, you will have to perform several preparatory missions, getting soporific gas, transport for departure, masks for conspiracy, and so on.

The characters have their own skills and parameters like endurance, accuracy, ability to fly an airplane. There is also a stealth mode in which the hero can slip silently behind the backs of enemies. In addition, each protagonist has his own talents: Michael slows down time in shootouts, Trevor goes into a rage, becoming almost immortal, and Franklin turns on the "slow-mo" while driving. They, like other character parameters, can be improved. This is done with the help of frequent repetitions of one action (the more you run, the more hardy you will become), as well as the active use of material and spiritual and entertainment benefits in the expanses of Los Santos.

Los Santos is by far the largest city in the GTA series and, perhaps, one of the most thoughtful, rich and beautiful in the entire history of video games. Like its real prototype, Los Angeles, the locality is divided into several large zones, completely different in landscape and design. Wild areas covered with rivers and mountain ranges, suburban villages, downtown, looking at the world from the tops of skyscrapers… After the first walk down the street, you fall in love with this world blindly and selflessly, like a child.

Not once during the entire passage will you have a feeling of "copy-pasty" in the appearance of the districts. You can spend hours aimlessly walking around them, slowly examining architectural samples, non-repeating billboards, graffiti on

Definitely, Detroit is the best Quantic Dream game. I'm just thrilled. I didn't even expect that there would be such a strong story. It's been a long time since I've had so much fun from any movie or TV series.
The characters are written and played just brilliantly. You get attached to them and worry about their fate to the end. I have never felt such a hurricane of emotions in any other QD game.
The plot, despite some secondary nature, is brilliant and touches on very serious moral and social topics that are relevant to this day.
The atmosphere just hits the temple with a hammer. Immersion in the game at the highest level. There is enough variability here not even for two or three passes. Noticing some small details and watching the disclosure of the characters, I was genuinely delighted, and some plot points and dialogues made me goosebumps. Within the framework of interactive cinema, the bar is raised so high that I don't even know who can jump it. Well, perhaps only the Quanic Dream themselves.
The graphic component of "Detroit" can surprise even in 2k22m. Sometimes you even forget that this is a game. The surroundings, the light, the faces of the characters, the movements, the staging of the scenes - just my homage. Separately, I want to mention the music in the game and the voice acting (Russian). Top! 10iz10
Gameplay, I think everything is clear here. If you've played other QD games, then you know exactly what to expect.
If you haven't played, what are you waiting for?

In general, Detroit is not just a game, Detroit is an unforgettable experience wrapped in an action-packed fantasy thriller that will make you empathize with the characters, get angry, sad, afraid, and you can also bring a whole range of emotions that the writers from QD masterfully juggle.

Guys...
After spending 288 hours in this, I achieved essentially everything that was possible. Then there is the experience farm of the skill rank, which in turn is farmed by experience on every single type of weapon (i.e. you really have to play a certain time with all the weapons), which in turn is farmed from resources of a certain type, and to get these resources of a certain type you need to go and FARM. And he does not forget about money, because when you farm resources, money drips catastrophically little and they need to be farmed separately, without money you can't even fart here. So this whole story flows into one thing: farm for farm's sake on the same type of locations and with the leveling of the level with less and less gameplay. (Well, for example, in order for me to farm, it's enough to squeeze the skill once a minute (you can still pop the serialchik))
But I am pleased with the community here. It is very rare (very rare indeed) to meet schoolchildren here. (I'm not saying that schoolchildren are bad, but the overwhelming stratum wants to get to know your closest relatives) The average age here is 25-30 years. And the boys will never refuse to help you (well, most likely because they have nothing else to do here ahahah). Because you will have to understand the mechanics for a long time. My advice if you are just now entering the game - look for an active clan and find a company. This way you will understand everything faster and you will be willingly helped in this.

total:
disadvantages: Farm for the sake of farm and for farm, similar locations, conditionally open world
ADVANTAGES: Community, plot

If you have a large amount of time to farm, go ahead.

I confess to you, I am not a big fan of literature: I am easily distracted, I hardly digest the meaning of paragraphs, and sometimes I even fall asleep in the process. I have an even cooler relationship with anime. No, I don't deny them, I even recognize them as a separate art form. Let's say I just don't understand them. But when I met the "Everlasting Summer", which I swallowed up in one gulp in a week, I realized that I just hadn't found something that could really hook me yet. And here I found it.
