I'm gonna start off this review with one thing; Bad Rats: Rats' Revenge is the first video game that I have ever played. I was willed this game by my great aunt twice removed, who happened to be the heir to the Somalian throne (you might have heard of her). Though I received this game for free, with all of the content in this game, I believe it is worth much more than the store price. Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge is the best game I have ever played, and that is no exaggeration. The game is riveting from start to finish, and follows the story of a young rat named Nathaniel, played by Steve Buscemi. Nathaniel was but a scrawny rat, the runt of the litter. Though he did not amount to much in society, he was destined for greatness. His homeland, Ratbania, has been at war against the cats for thousands of years. Nathaniel rises to occasion, joining the Ratbanian army, to fight in glorious rat war. I don't want to give away too much of the story, but to say the least, playing Bad Rats is the closest I have seen a video game to being a movie. The in-game combat is comprised of both sword and gunplay. The game makes you feel as if you are actually a rat, wielding an assault rifle in the rat trenches. The combat is both complex and realistic, forcing you to be aware of your surroundings. The story is enthralling, and has many twists and turns. I never was able to guess where Nathaniel's story would lead next. Overall, the game is worth much more than the $0.99 it is listed for. It is a must-play experience, and could not be improved in any way. It is an absolute masterpiece that I am ecstatic to have come across. Although I have not played through the entire game, I can tell the rest of the game will be quite a journey.

I wish the Steam store had a rating system, as I assure you it would have at least 6 stars out of 5. I am pleased with my purchase and hope many others will follow in my footsteps.
