Out of the box there was game breaking bug. A needed NPC wouldn’t spawn. I fixed this by using a save game editor. The combat isn’t very good. There a low key games with better combat like minecraft and minecraft combat isn’t that great. Then the game doesn’t respect my time by not having a save anywhere system, a large number of save points, and it is missing a map. Not every game needs a map but games with halls and rooms that all look the same needs a map. You can look at maps online but those don’t have a fog of war. I just want a map of the areas I’ve been to.

The graphics aren’t that good which is the point however without anything else to rave about this is a bit of a downer. Quake looks retro and looks a 100 times better than this game. There are many single dev retro looking games that look better than this. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate it its just I seen people rave about the retro look and its nothing to rave about.

There isn’t enough customization for your character. There is a mod that lets you make custom classes but that should have been part of the base games. Fans shouldn’t be needed to fix your game. He added pronouns which is great but why aren’t their male, female, and other portraits for every class. Why aren’t there a rainbow of skin tones for every class.

Some of the secrets or puzzles are really obtuse. I have no idea how anyone will find or figure some out without looking up. That is fine if the secret or puzzle is optional but it is dumb when they are needed to get through the game. Note not all are needed.
