Seeing each little story arc and decision change your environment, interactions with other characters, and new items is rewarding and gets you truly invested in the story and lives of the characters.

Unlocking new skills and cosmetics for the house keeps you thinking 'just 1 more run' and the heat system makes repeated escape attempts fun and customisable to how you want to play. Each run feels unique with the multitude of weapons and hundreds of boons to choose from, with lots of options that totally switch up the gameplay, allowing you to piece together crazy combos and find builds that fit with your playstyle. Could not recommend it enough and can't wait for Hades II!
