This is one of those games that just keeps getting better, and ages like fine wine. Vermintide 2 had a bit of a rocky start; like many new games, it was rife with bugs, crashes, and instability.

Fatshark have shown, over the course of more than six years, that they are passionate about this game and this franchise, as this one only continues to get better with every subsequent update, and the fact that they continue to update it nearly seven years later speaks volumes.

It plays smoothly, it's dripping with atmosphere and charm, and it looks gorgeous, especially for a game this old. Somehow Vermintide 2 (at max settings) looks and feels better than many AAA games from within the last year or two.

If you like co-op horde games, like Left 4 Dead, give this one a try. This is a perfect example of the genre done right.
