This game is the pinnacle of open world games. The kings of the genre Rockstar do not disappoint. It's absurd how much content and things to do there are in this wonderful masterpiece, from hunting, crafting, gathering, easter eggs, robberies, shootouts, gambling, drinking, racing, fist fighting brawls, shopping sprees to customize Arthur and his Horse. That's just scratching the surface with the obvious things, there is so many other things to see and do in the beautiful world that Rockstar has put together I can spend hours simply walking around in it. You don't just play an outlaw on the run you are an outlaw on the run. Few games have immersed me the way this did. The story is fantastic and believable whilst also giving you a wild fantasy like feeling that so many people desire from their westerns. The characters are all wonderfully written, the main character Arthur Morgan is in my opinion even more likeable than John Marston from the first game. RD2 stays true to the first game and everything great about it bringing us the best western game into 2019. It is absolutely worthy of the original i'd even argue that it's better, something I didn't think possible. This game is the best open world game currently made and easily in the top 10 releases of the past decade, it's simply a 10/10 masterclass.
