A great survival city-builder.

The good:
- Constant updates (early access)
- Great concept
- It starts a story

The bad:
- It needs improvements in a few areas. (can't wait for the full release)

As a fan of the series: Press "w" and go make a tea, drink it, return to the game and maybe you are half-way to your destination. The controls are horrifying. The story is like the others but re-imagined into the viking world.

This is a great game. The story is well designed and the game mechanics are really good. It has a great learning curve design, balanced difficulty and a variety of items that can be used. There are all kind of events in the map that you can choose to follow or not and also side missions that feel relevant to better understand the game's story.

All in all: it is a must have in any story-based game libraries.

Constant updates and a nice game-play idea

One game every 12 hours is tedious and absurd.
At least they could have done is offer the possibility to buy the game on steam.

A movie where you decide what characters will do.

Pros:
- Awesome story
- Great voice acting
- Great graphics
- Good soundtrack
- Easy to manage controls
- Little to non annoying camera angles
- Decisions really matter and the story is driven by those.

Cons:
- Areas where you walk slower than usual.

All in all: it's a game worth playing.

After 12 hours of game-play i have decided to buy this game so i can play it past the free weekend.

I saw comments saying this is worse than other games (like XCOM) so they do not recommend. I think that is misleading, maybe there are better games, but this as a standalone game - the first of it's genre i have played - is awesome, if you like turn-base strategy games. It has a good story and you need to plan ahead in battles, take control of the game time advancement, manage your resources or make diplomatic decisions.

Buuuuut, yes, there are occasional crashes, and a learning curve kind of steep.

Anyway: 8/10

It is a great game. A little old as a concept, but the story is a good science-fiction that is worth hearing.

Con:
- A little too short, but the open-world environment makes it much better.
