Destiny 2 is one of those games that can be very fun or very tedious and uninteresting. The majority of my memories come from doing raids with friends, and those are still a thing. I would love to see some of the other activities get some more incentive to play the game, such as more rewards to make grinding easier. The game itself can be very fun once you get into the grind, but this is also intimidating for newer players because they don't see it as worth their time. I know that most of the players are casual and don't mind a long journey if they can do it at the pace they want, but for those who want to do it quickly, it seems almost unappealing to do at times.

Here is a summary of the pros and cons for this game.

Pros:
- Very fun gameplay, feels amazing to use the weapons and abilities.
- Beautiful level design in lots of activities (mainly raids for me) which adds a ton of immersion
- Low PC spec requirements so most people can play the game on low settings with few issues (aside from occasional bugs)
- Story for Destiny 2 is very good but can be difficult to digest for new players

Cons:
- Inconsistent quality of seasons. Some are absolutely amazing and some are very boring to play
- Fairly frequent server issues (this has been less apparent but is still a thing) and the game servers can be down for a very long time due to bugs
- Very high amount of bugs when new content is added. This is expected but sometimes it's an overwhelmingly large number of bugs
- Free to play experience is very underwhelming, most of the good FTP content was sunset (as well as paid content which is frustrating) and it's hard to get players into Destiny due to how boring it is when starting

The design of the game is great in terms of how it looks. There are some areas that I would love to just sit in for hours because of how beautiful they can look. This is pretty consistent in open areas, and some enclosed areas can show some different architecture that really immerse you into the world.

The gameplay for this game is somewhat inconsistent since some activities are very fun whilst others are not. For example, Season 14 (in Beyond Light) was incredibly fun and replayable because of the design of the activity, as well as the builds being pretty strong. The areas that are not so fun are ones that feel dragged out and limit your playstyle towards one specific loadout. The game is already going in the direction of making players free to choose their subclass fragments etc. but it just needs to take it a few steps further.

The game isn't very demanding for computer specs either. You can play this game on mid-tier setups and low/medium settings should work fine.

The DLC content is also the majority of the content with this game. Free to play players don't have a ton of content to do in the grand scheme, and it's probably worth investing in the current DLC if you plan to play the game more often.

The servers have not been mentioned in detail, but I would love to see the servers getting improved since they are incredibly slow at times (especially the tower).

Overall, I do like this game, but it just needs to build more on the foundations and allow players to be more free with what they can play around with instead of feeling punished by trying something different.
