This is legitimately the only pirate-themed game ever made that's actually good. It's sad that this came out right after the sh*tshow known as Assassin's Creed III so nobody could have known about it thus making it an actual hidden gem.

NOTE: Everything in this review is 100% true but only under the condition that you have gone through both Peragus and Telos in the first act which are objectively slogs.

I actually love this game a lot more than the original simply because there is more depth and detail put into it than the original even without the restored content mod. The combat has more complexity and style and the party characters are all great, even [that one character]. All of the planets are enjoyable to play on and their campaigns go on as long as they should and aren't overbearing on the player. Of course, with all of the side quests, you can play on them as long as you want.

This game proves once and for all that the greatest Star Wars games are written by people who hate Star Wars.

Let's get down to the heart of the matter:

You're not playing this game for the story
You're not playing this game for the characters
Hell, you're not even playing this game for the gameplay (which boils down to the easiest souls game ever made)

Nah, you're gonna play this game because you can customize your character to be whatever anime girl your loser NEET heart desires. Is that not enough of a reason to like this game?

An incredible game that everyone should play, even those who are scared to death of being called a weeaboo online.

It's also really cool how this game came out on PC a month after I finally got a modded PS Vita after a year of waiting effectively turning my Vita into an expensive handheld emulator machine with no worthwhile exclusives.

Vietnam boomers who switched from Day of Defeat, little kids with clueless parents, and irritable twenty-somethings who think they're on an e-sports team are the only people you will encounter in this game and you're gonna hate every single one of them. I feel legitimately no reward playing this game and it also doesn't matter how well your wireless connection is; if you don't have a wired connection, you're gonna have lag spikes. The only way to have any kind of fun in this game is by griefing it.

I'm sure Tom Clancy would be proud.

Out of all of the games I've played, THIS game has definitely my highest New-Game-to-Complete-Game ratio. If you have no sense of timing or are functionally rеtаrdеd when it comes to parrying, you will not enjoy this amazing game.

A game that makes you question your sanity as you realize, despite your previous and mostly correct assumptions, that a literal prostitute can, in fact, be the best girl in the entire game.

Filled to the brim with hackers, squeakers, and cyber gangsters who don't know how computers work or are too high to complete co-op missions properly, GTA V presents a dystopian landscape where greedy corporations arrest you for winning too much and make their head writers quit. I have no idea why it always feels like, even after seven years, that it's an early access game. It is the most chaotic, mismanaged, nonsensical, unbalanced and underplanned multiplayer experience you will ever go through.

I'm only recommending it because once you get the Oppressor MK II, you've basically won the game since you can blow up anyone you want whenever you want and nobody can touch you because you can fly away and go into passive right after.

THAT'S good game design.

A fun but flawed parkour zombie sandbox game. I like this game a lot but it's probably more useful if I just list what I DON'T like:

-You know what a character who needs to fight zombies with mostly melee weapons needs? A melee stamina meter. Definitely makes sense considering he can run almost infinitely and CAN climb and jump infinitely at game start.

-Once you unlock camouflage, the stomp finisher and silent takedown, you've basically won the game.

-What's the point of having guns in the game if all loud noises attract fast zombies?

-In an early game mission, you are introduced to human enemies which are much tougher, harder to hit and more robust than zombies (obviously). If you haven't went out of your way to grind for combat moves before starting this mission prepare to bend over.

-Getting to Legend level 255 is damn near impossible using legitimate means and you'd have a much better time and feel more rewarded grinding to 99 Runecrafting in Old School Runescape

Even with these flaws, I can still look past it and say that I had fun playing it. Also, molotoving your fellow man in multiplayer near mission checkpoints is never not funny.
