Bro i haven't even finished this damn game and i want to tell everyone about it. The characters are amazing and scratch my itch for cute but serious girls that slowly unravel their inner selves as the game progresses. Combat is very fun and the build diversity is insane, every time i get some new fancy upgrade to a build, i think it can't be topped with the insanity, and 30 minutes later a new fat upgrade is added to my repertoire! I highly suggest you go in as blind as possible and definitely expect the unexpected. It might not be as cutesy and fun-filled as you'd think... Will update this review after i finish the game, but a singular play session was so damn fun i had to write a review about it!

Edit 2 Days later: Just finished the game on Executive Chef Mode and 100%ed it, and had an absolute blast. I highly highly recommend the game to anyone with a smidge of interest in it. However it isn't without flaws.

Noticeable flaws:
- Sound design in some areas either wasn't working or just glitched out. Was playing a summoner-like build so honestly might've been part of it. Some areas had amazing soundtrack to it, but others were lacking or just...silent? Some areas have silence on purpose but others also had it randomly. Coming back to those areas and the sound was restored.

- Final Boss is kinda chaotic in a bad way. It was all over the place and things weren't really well telegraphed. It was a pretty meh fight, although i enjoyed most of the visuals. Definitely not the highlight fight of the game.

- Story is really hastened in the final chapter. The final chapter has such a massive about of loose ends to tie up, that it rushes through hastily and drops bombs onto you back to back without much time to comprehend it. I partially understand how the story went, but i had to go back and really think and re-read some parts to piece other parts together. The story overall though was FANTASTIC and had my interest piqued the whole playtime.

- Builds are Diverse but some really just overpower others. My Summoner build revolved around me sitting still to purposefully take damage to spawn orbs that i could detonate for over 4000k damage each time. Also spawned one per enemy killed, so it was just massive chain reactions of devastation. I tried out NG+ for a bit with a new build, but couldn't really find anything nearly as overpowered. Closest i got was the 1 HP build with the Lower HP=More Damage item, but some attacks go through shields so it was a bit pointless.

-Bugs that need squashing. There are a bunch of bugs still in the game that haven't been fixed. The most notorious being a bug where when highlighting over the language button, it changes it all to Chinese until you change it back. There are a lot of small bugs i encountered whilest playing. A few to mention are the training dummy bugging out and being unattackable at certain times, Some enemies making their noises even after they were dead (very noticable in the final few levels) and once or twice NPCs being uninteractable until restarted.

Listing these bugs since i figured i'd make a point that the game isn't perfect. I love this game and all the characters it's created. I hope to see a sequel or more from the devs as the gameplay was fun and the humor was great too. Thanks for taking the time to read my review :]
