in order to play this game properly you need to use community bindings for Quest controllers, most of them seem to default to left stick click being reset view.

other than that this game is so good and incredibly immersive. the graphics have been easy on my eyes, and I've really tuned in the way the HMD sits on my head. the combat feels impactful and the need to yank your weapon out of the melon of a walker feel's great and can cause some really stressful moments when you leave your knife in said melon while two more are lumbering at you, for fans of TWD, I'd definitely give this one a shot. just choose some community bindings first that work for you.

I love the gameplay but the performance is very poorly optimized, I'd definitely wait for a sale in a few month after performance has been improved.

AI Use is why.

with the replacement of Julie Nathanson, who has voiced the character Samantha Maxis since BLACK OPS 1, due to her stances on the use of AI in voice work, and in support of the rest of the talented HUMANS that do voice work, I'm not writing a positive review, and using this instead to spread awareness. This is abhorrent behavior, and whether Treyarch or Activision are at fault for this, the fact stays the same. THERE NEEDS TO BE AI PROTECTION FOR VOICE ACTORS/ACTRESSES.

very sad i slept on this game for a long time, it definitely is worth the 22 bucks

So, this review is gonna be a bit bias toward my opinion of this game. As a kid (literally four years old) i used to play this game on my family computer. Now eleven years later and here I am again, reliving my childhood dreams of living in my very own castle. Admittedly, i rarely played either of the campaigns but was able to build (almost) without limit. its a truly great game for the strategizer or the freebuilder. Definitely worth the 5.49
