Really promising gameplay loop. I thought my system was still somewhat decent (12600kf, 32gb 3200mhz, 2080ti) but I'm unable to get playable frame rates (even if i drop to 1080p resolution, wtf?) and there's plenty of game crashes, GPU artifacting.. I know I need a new GPU at some point but this is the only game i have issues with achieving at least 60fps at 1440p so i'm not buying one yet.

the game still seems to have some core design flaws (the heli drop system seems way too rigid and exploitable in pvp modes, NPC ai could really use some more work), however with all that said, as somebody who never played Tarkov, I truly get it. The open world element, and seamless drop-in multiplayer, this game could be ridiculously huge. I could even see e-sports potential, similar to how PUBG popped off in the early days... For now though, I'd recommend only if you have a high end rig and really enjoy games like ARMA, DayZ, tarkov, and want to try something new. Fingers crossed they can optimize and sort out some of these issues, i'm very excited to see what comes of it, but in 10 months it doesn't look like they've done a lot.

i like the game

it's not my favourite game, but it's a well written RPG with interesting and creative combat mechanics, a lot of different ways to build your characters. 60 hours in and i havent even finished act 1. i do find it a bit of a slog but i guess i'm just a bit adhd and OCD and have to loot every single barrel and chest even though i know i'm just going to get more knives and forks. it's based on dungeons and dragons so expect a very traditional set of stats and mechanics, hard to compare to most other computer RPGs. worth the money in my opinion, but maybe watch some gameplay to see if it's your thing first.

It's better than Battlefield. I still enjoy BF4 occasionally but this game has soooo much better netcode, bigger maps, the maps are nicely detailed, and it's still in early access so I think it's got plenty of room to grow. 127v127 players is awesome. Highly recommend especially at the price point, many many hours of fun to be had here, especially with VOIP built in~!!

turn based strategy and tactics game. lots of fun if you're into that sort of thing, sci fi post-alien invasion. the story is a little bit meh, a lot of string music and omg you're such a hero and alexa this is so sad because x happened lets' all have a cry, but that story is still better than the first game, but it's really all about the gameplay which has a lot more depth and options available.

Yeah f--k yeeah the boys in the shack in the woods getting all medievil and ♥♥♥♥, nah you can't have my bacon , you can have some rope and some duct tape and i'll do some dodgy sh-t and make you watch. Wholesome fun for all ages. 8/10
