Painkiller Recurring Evil is a great game as are all the Painkiller series. But. This game seems to be so unstable its a pain to play. Save games are endlessly corrupted no matter how many saves you take.
It always crashes after restart from dying if you choose a save game, whether it's a Quick Save or a Autosave.
It's frustrating as hell.

Always crashes with the same Script error.

Classic game remastered.

Fantastic FPS - one of the very best. Nice selection of weapons, although I only used the JIC Sniper, shotgun and standard pistol for most of the game - with weapon mods from the customisation menu.
Gameplay is smooth and exciting and heart pounding in spots especially when you headshot from 1387 meters away on your first try..
There are a few little glitches but nothing really bad. Enemies walk into a post and cant seem to go around it so they just walk on the spot. Some vehicles lift up when you get close to them etc.
Graphically it's a beautiful game and the environments look absolutely real.
5 stars for this one.

Yes I would recommend it but its as frustrating as Hell. Clunky game mechanics, stupid ending, confusing, no direction, lack of ammo and dying constantly from lack of masks and filters whilst trying to find your way around a dark and confusing environment. Long cut scenes and stop start gaming is just really tedious and tiresome.

I played the previous Metro titles - Last Light and 2033 - and they were ok,
Got gifted Metro Exodus but couldn't play it till now because my video card couldn't handle it.
I was given a used nVidia GeForce 1080 video card and it is playable now but only with all settings to medium/low.
The gameplay is very clunky and slow reaction times don't help. Trying to remember so many buttons to press makes it difficult to play as well. Thank God for the prompts to press this and that when needed.
The worst thing about Metro Exodus - and to me its' a totally stupid thing is - the lack of ammunition. I mean seriously? It's a First Person SHOOTER! Give us ammo dumps!
But continually running out of ammo sucks big time. Trying to melee beasts is a clunky and usually fatal exercise with many restarts because the melee doesnt actually do anything. "Press "E" to melee?" Yeah okay but it does nothing so...
The aiming, shoving, shooting (when you finally have some ammo) and other actions leave a lot to be desired too. I had to play around with the button assignments to make it feel more "L4D2" ish so that at least i could use the functions. Left 4 Dead 2's gameplay is smooth and lightning fast when changing/reloading weapons and compared to Metro Exodus makes it an FPS done right - even after 16 years.
Navigation in Metro is clunky and weird, it would have been so much better to have a simple direction arrow at the top of the screen.
The cut scenes are way too long too and with no way to skip them it's tedious.
Overall, I've only played 5 hours so I have a long way to go. Unless I get so frustrated with the lack of ammo and melee weapons that I just uninstall the game.
Why can't we pick up sticks? Axes? Machetes? Bones? Rocks, Clubs? Bits of metal? Iron bars etc etc to use as weapons? There's nothing laying around all this destruction to use as a weapon? Really?
Creeping around these broken, ruined buildings with ♥♥♥♥ all ammo and no melee weapon is just crazy.

Classic Sam in a new never ending battle with Mental's hordes.
What's not to love?

Absolute classic. One of the best FPS's out there. 918.2 hours into Serious Sam 3 and 178 hrs into Fusion and the only reason I don't play more often is because I have so many other games to play.
Love Sams quips.
This game still stands head and shoulders above many of the current FPS offerings.

"Hell" of a good game! Fast and exciting gameplay, great weapons, great levels to keep you playing for days.

Seriously classic gameplay, serious wit and a true "run and gun" style that only Croteam can produce.
Outstanding visuals, excellent game mechanics and lots and lots of enemies with cool weapons to shoot them with...

I love the game and played the ♥♥♥♥ out of the original game but damn trying to fly that VTOL is crazy glitchy.
For no apparent reason it just crashes and rolls around for 10 minutes plus with absolutely no control from the payer until it blows up.
It inexplicably stops midair and wont go forward. Trying to shoot enemies is like pissing into the wind. It's not stable enough to shoot anything.
Its so slow to react that you get shot down before you can aim and shoot.
There is no direction indicator so you have no idea where to go. its a mess and the devs should be ashamed of it and themselves.
