Been working my way thru the Final Fantasy classics.

Move aside 7, this is the best Final Fantasy game. At least it should be in the mainstream consciousness.

Voice acting elevates the game over previous entries massively. Satisfying leveling and combat system. I've never really wanted to skip any battles. Compelling plot that's actually understandable.

IF there's any criticism it's that maybe the game is "too" straightforward? I didn't find that although I know some people say the game is too linear, but I found no real issue with that.

It's a game that had me wanting to keep coming back. It's a game that had me doing all the obscure side quest stuff to get ultimate weapons. It's a game that I enjoyed so much that I 100%'d the game. I'll fully admit... 100%-ing the game with maxed out stats was a slog..., but I knew that going in.

I can clearly see now how much vibes and inspiration Kingdom Hearts got from FFX.

Anyways. If you like Squaresoft games, Kingdom Hearts, FInal Fantasy or JRPGS, play this game you won't regret it. It's aged well and holds up tremendously.

If you got introduced to JRPG style games from someting such as Expedition 33, give this a shot. Expedition 33 more and more is reminding me of FFX as I play that game.


Tl;DR FFX holds up to the test of time, maybe even still somehow underrated.

Also make sure to get the 4GB patch if you encounter green screens in cutscenes. Otherwise it's amazing how this game from 2001 doesn't just hold up, it still shines.

A must for Ratchet & Clank fans. The most fun I've had since A Crack in Time. Visually a treat as well and running very well for me.

The best online racing game. Period. Say what you will about how much the subscription or cost of each car and track is, but the actual racing itself, the community is the best.

The series that they have, how you can naturally progress from each stage of racing all that way from a Formula Vee to an F1 car is something I have not found anywhere. Always being updated, physics and handling feels great. It's easily got the best F1 car of any game (W12 or W13).

If you want to simrace somewhat seriously and enjoy some very good competition that sparks that interest in you to compete, iRacing cannot be beat.

Highly recommend, just prepare your wallet.

At this point everything is fixed. MCC has come such a long way and its the best way to play any campaign or multiplayer Halo.

Only thing it's missing is Halo 5. Literally everything else is on there. Literally. Decent progression system, everything works afaik. Good playlists with options for searching what game and what mode.

Everything I want except Halo 5. Hopefully someday so all Halo games are on PC.

Never really got into rogue-like games, but there's an element of RPG leveling up. Even when you fail to escape your time doesn't feel wasted. A game that respects the player's time, what a wild idea.

You shoot stuff. It's fun.

It's really fun to shoot stuff in this game. Definitely grindy, but the shooting and gunplay is so enjoyable that I keep getting sucked back in.

Don't worry about story. Just shoot stuff. Get dope guns. Use them to shoot stuff. Complete challenging ♥♥♥♥ by shooting stuff and get dope loot to shoot stuff. Rinse repeat. For better or worse.

Frame rate is way too low for my specs. Game is poorly optimized. Crashes often. This isn't even including the seemingly shallow depth. I'd like to delve deeper, but the textures also look bad for what it is. I'd even accept a pretty game even if it was shallow, but it looks bad running at 3440x1440p.

Looks like a bad port. I believed the hype. I really wanted this to be good.
