Guys! What if water is just a layer of wetness that rises and falls depending on the air under it, and when you stick your hand through that layer, it creates a layer of wetness around your hand so that even though your hand is in the under air, it feels like there is more water.

Anything entering the wetness would get a layer around it and that layer would extend to anything exiting that object once its in the under air.

Say, a submarine, for example.
If the submarine goes through the wetness layer and gets a layer around it, and then someone exits the submarine in the under air, upon walking through the wetness layer surrounding the submarine they would be encased in a wetness layer too.

And when you drink water, what you’re really drinking is the wetness layer that formed on the sides and top of your glass.

How would you even be able to test this?!?!
