probably my favorite game of all time. I own it over several consoles, and even when the story-rich portion of the game has ended, there is endless hours worth of grind an fun. Inscryption unlocked a passion for a genre of games i barely know existed, and I will always be grateful for that.

I am aware of the many let downs, bugs, and other annoying parts that exist in this game, but that doesn´t take away from the fact that is my favorite game of all time, and will continue to be as such for a very longtime

It is literally ruining my life

Heartwarming story, the perfect way to spend an evening when you want to feel your heart grow with joy. Easily one of my favorite VNs I've ever played, and with the massive addition of DLC's to be added in 2021, this is going to be a must-have for my 2021 survival!

This was one of the first JRPGS I ever purchased, back in 2016. As a young teen, the speed at which one progressed through the game was alright, with thorough tutorials and many side quests to get lost in. However, as I have gotten older, I sense that the story progression is quite slow, especially in the beginning before you've gotten some extra characters (Compa, IF, Green Heart etc). If you are heavily into cheesy, anime stories, this slow progression might be right up your ally though!
As for the combat, it is a bit repetitive, and there are about 5 map layouts that are repeated throughout the game, with only a difference in what monsters pop up. However, I wouldn´t say I've ever been bored by the game. Graphics are great, typical for this studio, and the voice acting is superb as well. Cute conversations with loveable characters, especially if you buy the DLC with Plutia kappa and if you grind hard enough you can buy them all swimsuits.
An important note to add is that losing progress is RIDICULOUSLY easy. I have had to start over twice and that is the only reason I have yet to complete the game, as I wouldn´t say the game has magnificent replayability.
Now as I have gotten older, the game has a special place in my heart. I will never be able to not recommend this game, because I, in some weird way, grew up with these characters. If you are looking for a game that will make you smile, laugh, and just genuinely have a good time with, despite the lackluster game mechanics, then this game is definitely for you!!

I finished my first playtrough a couple of days ago and I have to say, I already miss it.
It is one of the best games I have played, Here I'm quickly going to explain the pros and cons of buying this game.

PROS:
- The game has amazing graphics, I mean, just look at the trailer.
- Amazing story
- Multiplayer ♥♥♥♥ yeah
- Dialouge and cutscenes are interesting
- Few bugs ( from what i've experienced)
- You're having just as much fun exploring tombs and relics as you are shooting people.

CONS:
- Fairly short game
- Fairly easy game
- Wtf why was this game so short
- No really why?

CONCLUSION:
- To put it simply, I do recommend this game. The 10 hours will be worth it, Because not only have you lots of hours to play multiplayer in afterwards, but you will have the urge to finish the game with a 100% score ( I got a total of 80%, going to replay quite soon :D) resulting in more than one playtrough. 9/10

this game is in my top 5 games, easily. If you're wondering if it's worth 39,99 euros or not, it is. It is worth every penny
