United Empire
First game sucked hard
"This time will be better"
Start in 8 spiral galaxy, neighboured by another United empire and some annoying Sophons
Stagnante in expansion mid-game
Decide to build a huge space armada and conquer the galaxy
Get declared war on first by another United empire
Doesn't matter, start invading, fleets 2OP
Get war declared by sophons mid-invasion
ocrap.exe
Make peace with other United Empire, send all fleets (of which there were many) toward sophons
Slowly Invade, take a few systems, but forced into a peace treaty
No more war, eh?
While this was all going on, secretly spamming Influence whole game
Borders span half the galaxy, Influence off the charts
Research the tech that allows system conquer via Influence
Wait a few turns
TAKE ALL THE SYSTEMS
Suddenly space empire is absolutely huge
Win game via influence spam

It was definitely better

11/10 Would Influence again.


P.S: Soundtrack is awesome too


(I also played ES1 a lot, if that means anything.)
