This is my most played game on Steam and outside for plenty of reasons.

The characters.
Each character has their own personality that greatly describes their play style, along with the interactions between them under various circumstances.
I recommend watching the 'Meet the' videos and read the comic if you'd like to find more in-depth info about these beloved mercenaries.

The gameplay.
Gameplay has been the same for the past decade, with minor balance changes. But being the same doesn't mean it's bad. If it ain't broken don't fix it, right?
You've got plenty of mechanics to learn from rocket jumping to trickstabing to airblast.
There is way too much to add about this category. It's more fun if you try it yourself.

Content.
Even tho we haven't had any significant updates for the last (7 at the time of writing this review) years, the game is full of more than enough stuff to do, from trading, to customising your character, to becoming a better player, to funny moments (ragdolls are the best) that will (most of the times) give you a great time and even a good laugh (if you don't take the game too seriously).

Community.
I've been in plenty of communities, but not a single on stands above the TF2 community. This game has given birth to such amazing people that either create content or just consume it in a way that makes it more enjoyable (obviously with a few exceptions here and there), or people that just enjoy the game and try to have a good time, to actual creators of our content from the game (for the past 9 years). Without this community, this game wouldn't be as great as it is today.

I recommend this game if you somehow haven't heard or tried it before. It might or not be for you, but you never know until you give it a shot.
