I`m glad I bought the Volvo Complete Pack back in 2015 for 10$ only!
To the real review,L4D2 is what you expect from a sequel,to beat it`s predecessor for the most part.

1: Campaigns
They are good for the most part,I love Dead Center and The Parish a lot but for most players Swamp Fever is the worst Non-DLC campaign and Hard Rain is a nightmare to complete on higher difficulties but it`s also the most unique campaign in the entire series imo.
And don`t start me on Dark Carnival with zombie clowns which are worse than clowns in real life which creeps the ♥♥♥♥ out of me!
Also Volvo ported the maps from the original game but with some modifications to them to not being able to exploit them as much as in L4D1. I avoid them cause I already own L4D1 but I don`t mind playing them with a friend of mine tho.

2: Atmosphere
This is one of the downsides of L4D2,you won`t feel much horror from it,probably except Hard Rain as most of the campaigns take place during the day. If you want the horror,either play L4D1 or the ported maps in the sequel.

3: Weapons
Unlike the original,this game has a lot of variety when it comes to using guns and another fun way to kill zombies are the melee weapons,favorites of mine being the katana and the machete,shotguns are still broken and can kill most of the infected from long range lmao.

4: Survivors
Coach: My favorite survivor from all 8 playable ones,he is funny,a bit optimistic and is the leader and doesn`t back up from a fight. 10/10
Nick: I`m glad Volvo didn`t used the cliche of ``Suit guy=bad guy``,yes Nick may be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at first but later on he becomes a kinder person a little. 9/10
Ellis: Kinda annoying to me but he is the kindest of all survivors so i can`t criticize him too much,especially that he is the most helpful bot lol. 7/10
Rochelle: Most boring survivor,period! I don`t hate her but she has nothing interesting about her,but Volvo for some reason dropped a lot of her voice lines that actually made her an more likeable character,i don`t know why... 4/10

5: Gamemodes
New ones are:
Realism: L4D if it was Dark Souls,especially on Expert.
Scavenge: Some sort of alternative to Versus but ain`t interested in it.
Realism Versus: If you thought the normal VS is cancer,try this
Mutations: Basically modifications to any gamemode you want to play,want to play like a lone wolf against only Special Infected?,then play Last Man On Earth.
Wanna play campaign but only Special Infected spawning instantly?,play Special Delivery then,and so on. I spend most of my playtime on Mutations.
I also downloaded a mutation to play alone Versus against bots,cause i don`t wanna play against randoms.

6: Workshop
PRAISE LORD GABEN for including the Workshop,it`s way easier to download any mods you want,cause L4D1 was a nightmare to download custom content.

7: Special Infected
I can understand adding the Spitter to reduce camping to one spot and the Karma Charger to cause more panic and insta kills but the Jockey is a nightmare to fight against because of how small he is and wasn`t the job of the Smoker to drag one survivor away from the others and the job of the Hunter to kill the one who runs on his own?

8: Conclusion
I love this game,even tho it misses key elements that L4D1 has,like radgolls,the atmosphere and most importantly,the legs!
If you want to play with friends get it right now! Even if you don`t have any friends,you can still manage to enjoy this game on your own cause bots are not so pathetic like in the original.
