I like the game. I really do. I actually think it's a lot of fun. Great looking world and very atmospheric. Performance hasn't been much of an issue for me, but I know others have struggled with it.
However, it crashes a lot. There's a 0% chance of the game running for more than 10 minutes without crashing for me. 90% of the time it'll crash within 2 minutes.
The only way around it is by capping FPS to 60. That seems to stop it for a while, but it still crashes at random times because the FPS cap doesn't actually work half the time. Even with it capped to 60 it'll reach 70-90 or above every now and then, which makes it crash.

I really really like this game, and want to play it so bad. But I cannot recommend the game in its current state. I can barely even play it. This was released way too early. I know we all hate delayed releases, but I dont think anyone likes games coming out like this.

Early Access Review
Great sequel to the first game. Visuals look great and immersion is superb. Definitely feels like a worthy upgrade to the first game and would highly recommend

This truly is one of the best VR games to date. Even 4 years later, it's still one of the best looking, best playing, and well thought out VR titles. I'd still say it's better than a lot of the new stuff coming out.
The visuals are great with a huge focus on attention to detail. Controls are very intuitive and good. But most importantly, the intractability of things is industry leading. Things have weight and interact with each other. Almost everything you see is interactable and can be manipulated in some way. There's markers laying around every now and then that you can write on whiteboards and windows with. If your inventory is full, but you still wanna bring more things with you, you can put it in a bucket and bring it with you. Absolutely amazing game and still highly recommended. One of the must-haves for every VR player.

Great efforts, Helldivers! We freaking did it. Took down the biggest enemy to freedom yet, SNOY! But the war is not over yet, new objective is to get the reviews back to where they were before this all went down, and let's get back to spreading managed democracy among the galaxy!

This is such an amazing and immensely underrated VR experience. The puzzles are pretty good, but the horror is great. It's so tense and atmospheric. Builds very well and really gives you chills down your spine. I absolutely urge anyone who likes creepy horror things to try this game.

I'll mark this as spoiler in case anyone else wanna go into this completely blind like I did
This first point isn't the biggest spoiler, but I know this would've changed how I approached the game anyways if I knew this. There aren't any jumpscares in this game. At no point will there be a sudden loud noise and something jumping at you. It's all just creep factor and the anticipation of something suddenly happening. The last section of the game where you actually make it out of the house and into the woods gave me such a feeling of dread and anxiety that I haven't felt in a horror game in a very, very long time. Highly recommend!

I wanna start out by saying that I actually enjoy this game and think it's a lot of fun once you get it working. I have been using the 10 hour trial you get with EA Play, but I dont plan on buying the game once the trail runs out unless there's a big sale because of a number of issues.

I'm running a 3070 with an i7-11700k, 32gb RAM, Thrustmaster TX wheel and the HP Reverb G2. So its not like a lot of my issues were from an aging slow system.
I've also been a fan of the previous F1 games from Codemasters, owning F1 2015 - F1 2019. So believe me when I say I really wanted this to work. I wouldn't have spent so long trying to get it to work otherwise. And when it did work, it was a lot of fun. But the game just simply isn't worth anywhere near the $60 price tag for the reasons below. Unless there's a massive sale after my EA Play trail runs out, then I wont be buying it. Hopefully the issues will be resolved for 23 or 24 as I doubt they'd put any effort into fixing this game since there's a new one every year.

I spent the first 2.5 hours of my trial just getting the game working in VR with a wheel. First my wheel wouldn't even detect at all. All my drivers were already up to date and both VR and wheel worked in every other game I had tried.
Then when I had gotten the game to detect my wheel, I had to get the force feedback to work. Which once again was just a blind guessing game, and only F1 22 had this issue.

Next on the list of things to fix was the VR issues. And I must say, this game has some of the worst VR support I've come across in a racing game. The game somehow managed to look like absolute garbage while also running like crap. Even after turning every single graphics setting down to the lowest possible setting, and putting my headset resolution to 66% I still struggled getting anything above 65fps. I know I dont have the most powerful system out there, but it's by no mean weak and should manage ultra low graphics on 66% resolution just fine.
Though after 2.5 hours of research and just fiddling with anything I could think of I finally got it to a playable state. I'm still not sure what I did to fix it, but I can play now at least.

Once I had finally got it working, my friend and I tried setting up a race only for his new Logitec wheel to freak out a couple laps in before his game crashed. Once again, no problems in other games such as Project Cars 2 or others.

Another issue with the game is something I believe is a result of EA, that being the micro transactions and battlepass system. I dont see the logic behind adding something like this for any other reason than greed.

These issues I've had have not been exclusive to me, and others have also reported other strange problems causing the game to be weird. But there are also people out there who've had practically no issues and it's worked fine out of the box, so you might not have any problems.
If you have EA Play, then give it a go, might as well. If it works fine for you, then great. If not, well you haven't bought it so also great.
I'd say wait for a big sale or skip this one and see what 23 has to offer once that's out.

My first time playing this I had no idea what I was doing or what to do. I knew I was supposed to find something, but not what or where. Wandered around at night being scared out of my mind with scary shadow people lurking in the distance following me and trying to kill me. I saw a house with lights on and started making my way over there. Before making it all the way though I almost dropped dead from a heart attack when someone shot at me. These things have guns? I panic and hide behind a tree, fumble with my gun and drop it, then someone comes walking around and attacks me so I have to run, leaving my gun on the ground. Running away crying.

This game is brilliant! The visuals are simple, yet detailed if that even makes sense. The atmosphere in the Radius is fantastically terrifying and beautiful at the same time. My inner loot goblin loves just going out and looking for stuff to bring back to base to organize.

The visuals are simple in the sense that it's a lot of silhouettes and dull colors in the zone, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It just brings makes the colored things more beautiful to look at. Like the giant floating ring run thing in the sky. 11 hours in and I'm still stunned when looking at it. The shadow people are also fairly simple silhouettes in a way, but again, not a bad thing. And not just silhouettes as in untextured people, they fit in with the environment and just enhance the experience. And they're terrifying as all hell
That's not to say that the game looks bad, because it doesn't. The textures are detailed and convincing where they need to be. Your weapons and all your equipment for example look great.

The game is also very great mechanically. Things like opening a can of food and eating it with your knife just further helps sell the survival aspect of it. The ammo boxes you find you can either just touch the mags to to reload them, or take out the bullets and load the mags one bullet at a time. Again, further enhancing the experience and helping immerse you in this horrific place.
It doesn't have the same interactability with objects as something like HF: Alyx, but that's also understandable as this isn't Valve.

You WILL cower in a corner and cry like a lil b***h if you play this. It's fantastic. It's as close as you can get to a 10/10 without actually getting there. But it definitely could with a bit more budget. Definitely worth a play though. And the constant updates keep making it better.

Pre-ordered this game back in 2016 and played it for 20 or so hours. Really did enjoy it and don't really remember why I stopped playing. Decided to pick it up again recently and oh boy am I loving this. Poured in 16 hours over the past couple of days and taken an unholy amount of screenshots.
I think the full price is a little steep for a game that was released back in 2016, but I also wouldn't have an issue buying it today for that price knowing how much I'm enjoying it. The price tag also makes sense when you consider how many updates and extra content this game has gotten over the years, all of which are 100% free, and not a single micro transaction in sight. That's what I love to see.
If you like the look of this game and the idea of it, then you'll probably enjoy it.

The multiplayer has issues that I'm not happy with. But none of those issues affect the campaign. I'll be honest and say I was skeptical when they announced that Infinite would be open world. Wasn't too sure how that'd work as a halo game. But it works, it really does. Of course it comes with some issues that you can't really avoid when making an open world game, but that's minor. I've enjoyed the story so far and I think it does a good job at hooking in new players and explaining enough for them not to be completely lost, and not explain so much that OG Halo players feel like they're being spoon-fed.
Gameplay is solid and fun.

Only issue I have with the game is the pricetag considering it doesn't include a multiplayer as that's F2P. Sure, you still get a multiplayer, but that isn't included in the $60 tag. And you also get nothing in the multiplayer if you own the full game. That's not entirely true as you can unlock certain cosmetic things by exploring, but that's very minor and I think you should be rewarded with something more for cashing out for the whole game.

All in all though, very solid game, story seems engaging so far and overall good game.

Lots of fun in co-op if you have someone to play it with. Cute artstyle and fun customization. Most of the levels are fun, with the exception of the typing one later on. It gets ridiculously hard when the letters move around and you have multiple words going at the same time, requires a lot of teamwork and concentration to get through.
Otherwise a fun game though.
