Sent off my Bishop to befriend pope.
Ended up giving revenue away to Pope while I was at war with the scots.
Beheaded him and ended up having to go to war with the Holy Roman Empire.
10/10 would behead my Bishop for the extra gold and levies.

But seriously this game is so in-depth the first 10 hours I’ve put into it was just to understand the politics of the Ireland Island. Every step of progress in the game is met with celebration as you realize that removing your spymaster while they had a -70 relation to you was a bad idea.
Sorry, more personal stories trickling into this review.

All i can say is you get some of the best damn strategy and story telling elements by far compared to similar strategy games. I bought $50 worth of DLC (at a discounnt of 50% too) and I rarely ever spend more than I have to on a game.
The only gripe is that the dlc was purchased to allow for some additional options in game to be allowed.
But I can forecast many hours going into this amazing game.
9/10 because ♥♥♥♥ you Essex for another raid of my castle and making off with my heir...again. *sigh*

What a perfect game for a floor of college students. A plus that they don't even have to look up from their phones either :)

Instant classic that should be in every RPG lover's library.
2 Years later, I still find my self clicking the familiar Imperial Icon on my steam library. The few issues are of course the glitches (but then again they make the most fun I've had in a game when I go flying from a troll attack), and just to warn people; this game will not hold your hand and walk you through your adventure like a child. You are Dovahkiin, you have your own destiny to forge whether it be with the (@$$h*l# racists) stormcloaks, or the (Imperialistic, Cocky) Imperial Legion. I still have not found every cave, or location in the game without any mods; and the mods.....holy crap they add extra layers to story, visual, or just fun gameplay.
I bought the game for $60, and now its on sale for even a third of the price. Well worth the $60 pricetag in my opinion, but its just stupid if you skip out on such an adventure at such a low price.
