First off EPIC ACCOUNT LINKING IS GONE! HUZZAH!

Second game is great, game is fun. Does crash sometimes though. Had that happen a few times right at the end of a mission. And lost it annoying on certain long missions. Happens more often in multiplayer, got kinda annoying when playing through with my friend.

So this is me changing my review to positive as I said I would.

Honestly this game is amazing it respects your time, has a great and fun community, great memes FOR DEMOCRACY! Seriously look at all the reviews that are roleplaying it is funny.

Along with that it is just a super fun and great game. While it does have some issues. Some balancing can be a bit weird. And I still think the anti cheat is kinda pointless as it doesn't stop the main issues such as cheating in samples. It is just fun, is decently optimised and has interesting mechanics like a stealth system that exists by accident due to other systems.

Seriously buy it it is fun.

EDIT: Just to clarify while as far as I know mods are still working in MHR as long as you update everything, install through fluffy's mod manager and re-read archives. At least as far as I know. This review is negative due to what Capcom are doing. While that might be seen as off topic. I believe that implementing something after the fact that harms the gaming experience makes it justifiable to leave a negative review. As they have actively made the product worse.

EDIT 3: I have been informed that apparently it now works on Linux. As well as how the virus total report was apparently a hoax. And have crossed out those parts. I am leaving them in though just in case.

Ok before this update it would have been positive and I would have had a ton of good things to say about the game. Liking the monsters and more.

But now it is a hard negative. Capcom in their quest against mods, has added Enigma DRM into the game. Which is even worse than Denuvo. This DRM seems to be basically exclusively targeting mods and initially broke compatibility with the steam deck. Which they did apparently fix as of writing this review. But that doesn't fix the Enigma issue.

Anyway long story short Enigma DRM is seemingly made by some random Russian guy that is quite rude and aggressive when approached about their DRM causing issues. They also like Capcom consider any mods to be "cheats" and brushes off complaint in dismissive ways such as in his own words "Maybe you are so angered because you can't use the cheats anymore?".

It has also caused a lot of issues in previous games they released it on. To the point that it made them unable to even be launched. And even at best makes performance worse. If only because due to not allowing mods it means no performance mods to get better framerate etc can be used.

Until Capcom stops this stupid "war" against mods and removes Enigma then this review will stay negative. Since currently this only hurts the people that own the game legally. As pirated copies are now just better. Especially because before this they had already removed the Denuvo DRM IIRC so yer... Thanks for punishing the paying customer Capcom.

Damn Armoured Core is back and it is just as amazing as I remember. After 11 years it is amazing to have it return. In those 11 years many tried but none really succeeded in doing what Armoured Core did. Nobody could get that feeling right. And it seems only the original could.

Thank you FromSoft for bringing back this amazing series.

Some may say the bosses are to hard, but honestly they get my heart pounding as I work out how to beat them. The amount of times I have survived bosses with health in the double digits is crazy. Hell Assault Armor has taken me over the finishing line in multiple boss battles.

I really don't know what else to say. I love the game. I have all but 2 achievements as of writing this. Only missing the all S-Ranks and the get all other achievements achievement.

And I will do it, I am not stopping because I am glad that this series is back.

It is a really fun game, the modding/crafting system means I don't feel like I HAVE to hold onto guns for to long. While the level up costs are a bit high that is fine. The gear all looks good and the abilities are fun.

Yes there are launch day issues e.g. servers going down. But honestly kinda feels like a good thing as it shows that the game is popular enough to crash said servers.

Overall it is a fun game and I am looking forward to getting more legendaries, increasing my World Tier and getting to end game.

EDIT: So as many know there have been more issues since game release. And while I agree these should have never been a thing, I do understand why. That said some people need to chill out.

I have frequently seen people that will comment on any post or tweet about an issue other than the wipe issue that they are forgetting about them. Just give them a bit of time.

Let them have time for each issue. Just because the game has been out for X time doesn't mean that they should have already fixed something.

INITIAL REVIEW WAS DONE AT 6 HOURS + 50 ISH FROM DEMO

So I find this game to be annoying to recommend, On one hand its a great game that is a lot of fun assuming that you like this genre of game. But on the other hand it has a bunch of issues that are what I can only guess to be the result of bad programming/optimisation.

That said I will recommend it but will advise any potential buyers to look up the known issues and fixes available before you buy it.

EDIT: Since I wrote this review the game has seemingly got much more stable but there is still some issues with the game and I hope they get them fixed for Iceborne.

I think I can sum up Dead Cells in three words. Fun but infuriating.

This game is really fun, I love the way the game looks, the way it plays basically everything. While I haven't played, either DOTA or LOL I really dont think I could after playing this.

Honestly no matter how much, I play this game, I can never pin down how I feel about it. The problem is that sometimes, I love this game, but then I just have those few games in a row, when I just get so mad and delete it. Honestly I want to like it, but at the same time I want to hate it as only high level games have any sense of balance between vampires and humans. in public game the vampires will dominate most of the time. If the vampire are beaten in the 1st round then the second round is basically a garenteeded win for that side. As vampires tend to be much easier to play and win with. I would say play it to see if you like it, but dont be suprised if you have problems with it. also I dont know if this has been fixed but, if you have two graphics card make sure it is using the better one.
